  1. I had the exact same issue with my NFA lower mated to a Stag upper. Sanded it down and that fixed it... I put together another one with a Del-ton upper and the CH did not rub at all. But both needed some serious attention from the Dremel in the mag catch and safety selector area!!
  2. PSA has been shipping their uppers out pretty quickly (mine was shipped within a week) The LBK on the other hand you will probably be waiting at least 3 weeks. I have an order in with them from 1/30 that hasn't shipped yet. Lowers are definitely out there and getting more reasonable every day. MidwestPX has had a pretty steady supply of the NFA polymer lowers. I picked up 2 and was pleasantly surprised with their quality. I also saw a place sell Seekins (forged) the other day for $130 so if you're patient you will get one. The BCG is gonna be the biggest challenge to find. Try watching the BCG thread on AR15.com http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_4/595389_Bolt_Carriers.html&page=175 Good luck!
  3. If you have any questions when you get the upper just message me your number and I'll do my best to walk you through it. It's really not that difficult.
  4. I just did my upper from Palmetto. It's a 16" barrel so you just unscrew the flash suppressor, pin your muzzle brake (I used an inexpensive DPMS Branson brake) and grind off the Bayonet lug. I used a Dremel to grind the lug and it took just a few minutes. I also drilled and pinned the brake myself. I used this http://m.homedepot.com/p/Irwin-8-32-Tap-Drill-Combo-Pack/100051220/ From Home Depot. Drill, tap, insert 8-32 set screw, weld and grind. Done and NJ legal
  5. Thanks for the input. I thought only the "premium" barreled upper was a FN barrel.
  6. That's what I was leaning toward. The PSA LBK also came with a ACS-l stock and MOE grip so I figured I would move all of those goodies including the YM BCG and BCM charging handle over to the Stag and sell the PSA/NFA with the Tapco, stock grip, stag CH, and Stag BCG
  7. I have 2 ARs and will be selling one to a friend to fund another build. I'm pretty new to the AR scene and could use some help deciding which gun I should keep and which I should sell... First one is a Stag Model 2 I bought new (pre-insanity price) and the other (my first build) has a PSA 16" CMV CL M4 Madness upper, NFA poly lower, PSA LPK, and Young Manufacturing NM chrome BCG. Any advice would be appreciated!
  8. Not a S&W but it's in stock. Would have to be shipped somewhere to be NJ neutered... http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/omni-16-22lr-polymer-m4-rifle-omni22.html
  9. I would be more than happy to test some prototypes.... Haha

  11. Boise is only taking checks or money orders for the BCGs. They said they are having problems with the CC companies because it's gun parts?!?! I was a little hesitant to send them a check. Young Manufacturing is selling chrome BCGs too if you email them directly at [email protected]
  12. Good to hear... That's pretty similar to what I will have when I'm done. I will be using the same LPK and BCG but I will be trying out the NFA lower from Midwest PX with this build... Only dilemma I will have once it's done is to sell it or keep it. I also have a Stag Model 2 and will be selling one of them to a buddy to fund another build and I'm not sure which one I should keep.
  13. Just got my shipping info for my PSA M4 madness upper ordered on 1/30. My ammo ordered on 1/19 still hasn't shipped!
  14. That sounds about right... Glad I didn't order one!!
