  1. are you saying that as a store, or as a private person? i can understand why, as a store, you wouldnt sell reloads..
  2. I know nothing about reloading, and am not really planning on getting into it at this time, but I was just wondering if those of you who reload get the cases (brass) from other shooters, purchase them or just re-use your own? If you get them from other shooters, do you offer them a chance to buy some of your reloads at a discounted price? Im just curious how people amass so many cases
  3. im just starting to do a little bit of research on rifles.. the compensator pin thing is Greek to me.. lol.. (im still quite a noob)
  4. oh, im certainly not giving mine up until i get a new one..
  5. so, speaking of these.. is this legal? obviously the 25 round mag isnt, but it has a threaded barrel and a collapsible stock.. i have to think this is a no-no in NJ, right?
  6. wha?? you have to deal directly with NJSP in Millstone, dont you? you dont have your own PD.. that really sucks
  7. yes, you do. the mental health form needs to be filled out and signed in front of them (i believe). for an initial FID, you need: FID Application (and fill in however many Purchase permits you want) Mental Health Consent Form DL in case they want to see it Not sure if they will ask you to fill out anything more than that, my PD did not.. technically, they are not supposed to need more than that... http://media.wix.com...fe5585c5e25.pdf that will tell you what you need for Parsippany actually, in reading that, it seems something isnt right. it tells you that you need to do an $18 money order to the NJSP for pistol permits, but upon your initial FID application, the fingerprinting takes the place of the $18 NJSP payment.. $18 Money Order made payable to “DIVISION OF STATE POLICE - SBI” (NEED FORM SBI 212A - REQUEST FOR CRIMINAL HISTORY) this should only apply if you are getting pistol permits after you already have your FID.. if you apply for them at the same time, the $57 fingerprinting charge (you will pay that directly to the fingerprinting place) should cover that.
  8. yeah, but i have an issue date that hasnt happened yet.. in 2 months it wont matter, but for now it certainly might (although, it might not since if they look the license # up, it will have the right date in their system).. woman who i need to talk to was not in today. will call back on monday..
  9. i wouldnt use your cousin if they have the same last name.. you are not supposed to use relatives
  10. anything to save money.. you would think NJ wasnt that petty considering how much they like to spend our money
  11. once you get email, its already too late... GunBot is how i found it..
  12. and now the 1000 rounds is out of stock.. 65+ gone in the span of7 or 8 minutes..
  13. ....and 500 out of stock already.. 46 in the span of 3 minutes.. geezuz still the 1000 rounds in stock..
  14. http://www.freedommunitions.com/9mm-115-gr-RN-p/fm9r115r-b0500.htm 137 for 500 rounds 274 for 1000 rounds currently in stock
  15. isnt it the fact that we have to fax stuff to the NJSP here in NJ that is really causing the main bottleneck?
  16. i thought the tubular design did not apply to the 15 round limit, as it is not a detachable magazine (?) edit - nevermind.. just saw that even fixed magazines are 15 only as well
  17. lawsuit for what? they dont guarantee a time frame that NICS gets done like they do for FPID/Permits (as far as i know)..
  18. NICS for our shottie submitted on Saturday (3/2).. still no word back yet.. so this going on 6 days.. was hoping to pick it up tomorrow.. maybe it will come in today..
  19. put it in between the mattresses when you are not home if you dont want it in a safe.. we dont keep our 38 in a safe either (night stand).. and when we get our shottie, it will be quickly accessible under the bed then again, we have an alarm system AND a nasty sounding dog also
  20. i joined on 2/6 as a lifetime member, and i still have yet to receive my card/packet.. they just told me this morning that it was taking in between 4-8 weeks for those cards to get sent out.. when i originally signed up, they told me 2-4 weeks (im a bit over 4 weeks now).. apparently they have gotten inundated with people joining (such as myself.. lol)
  21. i recently joined as well. I am not getting any more junk mail or phone calls than normal.
  22. Wouldn't you get a discount with any monitored alarm system?
