i'd look into a ford expedition, or the chevy tahoe or whatever the gmc version of that is. the thing to be careful with on the gm's though is the variable displacement. all of their 5.3 and 6.0 engines have it. it works fantastic. so good that you don't know it's working. right up till it fooks ya. then it sucks. the newer expeditions, i don't have much experience with at all, but i haven't heard much bad about em either.

i didn't see or know about the baking soda thing before i went to bed last night. i'd washed her with blue dawn before i even brought her inside, and then used ivory soap on her face area. dried her off, and i either got most of the odor or i went nose-blind to it. i'll know today when i talk to moms home care woman.

my gsd just chased one. and caught a face full of it. i think i got most outta her........can't smell it in the house, but goddam is it strong out front.......

ok. was down at bobs little sport shop last night dropping off my 1911 for some work. i saw a 1911 in 10mm in the case that i had to check out. it was by alpha foxtrot. i've never heard of them before. the gun felt REALLY good in my hand, trigger felt great, and i feel like i really want one(but then who DOESN'T want another 1911, right?). so.....anyone have any experience with this caliber in a 1911? like it? what about the brand? anyone heard of them? thanks!

nah. they're just throwing a hissy fit thinking they're gonna get away with it. hopefully they'll get spanked. that's not on him. if he's unloading, placing in a lockbox that's fastened in the vehicle, then he has complied with the law. if it's stolen at that point, then it is on the legislature, and/or the judges that just reinstated this crap, and perhaps they should all be sued accordingly. that all said.......i'm hoping that the 2a groups are "judge shopping" like the left does to find a judge that'll kill this latest problem.

i'm pretty sure that the "well regulated" part had nothing to do with training, but rather keeping your equipment in good working order. that will ensure none of that in this state. if they can find a way to deny us, they will. as evidenced by their moving of the goal posts right now.

just went and checked my folder. it was hqc2. that's not gonna cut it, is it? although upon talking to him, he thought it was 1. and the pd has our copies of our quals. we had to turn in copies i believe.

when i shot that course with my beretta, i hit 59 outta 60. the one i missed was at 15 yards. at 25, don't forget that you've got support there....you can lean on the "cover" for support.

and that is fine. but again.....those of us who've recently gotten our ccw's have shown proof of qualification including live fire. also, i just verified with the instructor i took my quals with......it was the hqc1. and they'd given us 1.5 hour course on use of force......

which virtually everyone that's recently gotten their ccw has provided......

that said...i just looked up that course of fire. i think that's the one i shot with i qualified with my beretta//////
