LONEGAN seems like a cool guy....but i don't think he's got much chance. i also don't give a rats ass what the nra rates someone. their tune changes with the wind. they're not out there to help us. they're there to make money for their leadership. there is no money in ending unjust/illegal gun laws. there is a ton of money in maintaining the status quo, and keeping everyone panicked so they donate. fully agree with the dirt digging machine. i'm pretty certain that they could come up with TONS of crap on sweeny, booker, and fulop.

see? why the HELL do we keep assuming a dem as governer? why is no one trying to find a viable candidate that we can mobilize behind to prevent a $%$% such as sweeny from winning?

i think many from all sides are not voting. i think more repubs sit it out than dumbocrats though.

but what does one do when there is no option in those districts? there more than likely are enough people pissed at how things are going.....but when there is no one to vote for to replace the #$%stains...........we need to find viable candidates even before the get out and vote thing. in fact, i'd venture that the lack of viable candidates is exactly why so many people don't go vote.

and they'll still vote for him if they're told to. that said.....i gotta ask again. who can we get to replace him? who can we get to run against him in 2017? how do we find a decent candidate? we need to find that before we can really do anything else.

rather than sticking another carb on it, i'd have converted to fuel injection. holley still sells(i think) a very easily installed throttle body injection kit. you can get it with or without o2 feedback.

you would think....but the last few elections, i've had no choices fairly often. some were evil, or eviler. some made me wanna puke. some, there just was no competition. at all. i've actually posted in the past asking how we go about finding decent candidates. it was close to crickets in there.

to kick them out though, we need to find halfway decent candidates to replace em. that always seems to be a problem here.

does the nra attempt to actually force its members to campaign and/or vote for the enemy? what'd you bang your head or something? or did they tell you you had to?

i don't much care for the nra either. honestly, the only reason i'm a member, is because i had to in order to join a club i want to shoot at. maybe if i see them stop making deals, and compromising our rights away, and maybe if i see them actually do something here in nj, i might change my opinion. unions though? they really shouldn't be backing anyone in particular....especially not when they make workers go out and campaign for them. they also shouldn't be donating massive money to them, as i believe i've read. they donate expecting favors.....and that gets us to well.......bs.

i rode for about 25 years. even taking jersey drivers into account, it didn't used to be as bad as it is now. it used to be enjoyable.

i used to love riding. last time i was on a cycle was about 4 years ago. i felt like i spent way too much time dodging, and looking out for inattentive, ignorant, and careless/reckless drivers. this was even when i got out into the country a bit.........i sold it, and haven't looked back. i can't afford to wake up in the er due to some jackhammer.
