  1. I did the same and had to include the Mayor. I was told that, "it takes this long everywhere in New Jersey".... sure it does.
  2. Larry, past co-workers and myself would always joke about that same line. Haha
  3. My letter; Mr. Mayor, I'm writing today to express my utmost anger and outrage that you and your office have refused to offer an apology to a Disabled American Veteran "until the investigation concludes". Sir, need I remind you that you serve at the pleasure of the people. People like myself who bought a vacation home here five years ago. I'm hoping that you change your mind and that you do it in a hurry. You see, I'm a former United States Marine who served in combat and received a Purple Heart for injuries that I sustained. I will go to hell and back to help any of my brothers and sisters who have picked up a rifle and gone to war to protect people like you and the officer that so rudely disrespected my brother in arms. This officer was out of line and acting in a way that was in direct violation of both State and Federal laws regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the use of service animals. What makes this even more heartless is that it was done to a DISABLED AMERICAN VETERAN on a boardwalk packed full of people for all to see. I will not stand for this type of treatment against Veterans in a town where I pay taxes. With God as my witness if this wrong isn't righted I will do everything in my power to make sure you are not reelected. We will not forget at the polls! Additionally, there are countless organizations that are now calling their members to action for this man and fight to have his honor restored and an apology given. As I stated before Mr. Mayor, you serve at the pleasure of the people. I know you will make the right decision.
  4. Maybe they thought you would give up by then. I'm not a hunter but I have family who do and it's the only meat that they eat. Literally. They would starve down here in South Jersey if they had to wait 11 months to be able to purchase a firearm. Crazy but I'm glad you finally got them.
  5. I just "googled" it and it seems to be a glitch with iPhone 5 running 6.1.3 in iMessage. One article says it also deletes the word "surprise" but I didn't try it.
  6. I want to know who the "dipshit" 405 voters are who said more guns create more violence. All of my guns have been getting along just fine together.
  7. As an MP in the Marine Corps I carried the M9 everyday as a sidearm but don't remember much difference compared to the 92FS which I also own. I personally, like the 92FS Inox Italian made better.
  8. I'm a pretty passionate guy myself but still know when I cross a line. Sure, the guy told the truth and I agree with his message. It's his delivery that is lacking. If Obama posted a YouTube video calling all gun owners "stupid MF'ers" we'd be up in arms ourselves. I'm behind this guy 100% but IF he does lose his job what good is he doing for his community? They could lose a pro 2A PC who won't enforce unconstitutional gun laws. IMO that does more good for our cause than his video does.
  9. I picked up a cheap Maverick 88 for out cabin in GA
  10. How can PD reasonably verify whether or not its a prohibited person?
  11. A friend of mine worked a buy back recently ( he's a detective) and he said that the state will pay more money for "illegal" guns and that if we were going to turn in any long guns to make sure that we saw the barrel so we get more cash.
  12. I was a complete lurker for the better part of the year I guess. I kept googling certain questions about 2A rights in Jersey and what's legal and almost every time this forum popped up. I'm usually not a forum type of guy. Hell, not much for social networking sites either. But, the local info made me register. Too much knowledge around here to not register. Also, perhaps there was more traffic this week because of the trial? Maybe folks were googling their own gun law questions or NJ self defense laws. This place comes up pretty consistently in search results.
  13. Hey man, the best advice I could give you is to check out bodybuilding.com as they also have a forum... not just the store. The guys over there are EXTREMELY knowledgable about all of the supplements and workout plan plus there's a lot of good people on it.
