Refactor Tactical makes a few nice bags thay don’t scream gun. Pricey but they’re made in USA and by a group of guys who speak gun fluently

It's magnetic adjustable suspension so I normally don't drive with it at that height, I get about 30mpg mixed driving, straight highway the best I've gotten was 35mpg. That's just a stock setup, doesn't the denali have the same setup? just doesn't look as aggressive with the factory wheels and tires? or does it have a much smoother ride because Denali? This rides a bit rough but it's a truck what more should I expect

So far it’s good, I also have a 2015 WRX I’ve been driving for 4 years and I had a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 duramax I sold to get the colorado. That was a solid truck but I missed having modern comforts in a vehicle, going between a modern car and an outdated truck had me missing things like bluetooth, heated seats, windshield wiper defrosters etc. also didn’t need a 2500 I wasn’t hauling THAT much, if I need to haul anything the colorado does fine

2018 Colorado ZR2 Duramax, got for practically a steal in December 2017. With incentives it was $35k after all said and done with 0% financing. Truck’s awesome, I haven’t taken it off roading yet but want to.

that's what I was originally told, and that's what I questioned (and what i said on here) you can fire 1 round with it folded, but the bolt doesn't cycle....which wouldn't make it Semi-Automatic. There's another one from Deadfoot Arms which uses a modified BCG and buffer which do allow AR's to cycle folded, that i can understand....same with a folding stock on a MCX, AK, SCAR...any gun with an internal recoil spring. Without really knowing, my guess is the NJSP would have to do a case study but don't want to do it.

This is an unwritten rule across the gun community nationally: you don't write letters to the ATF, you don't write to your local police to ask about gun shit...that's how things do get outlawed. I understand your concern with nervous gun owners, and it's a frustrating subject.....my advice has always been if you get pulled over and you have a gun in your trunk, what's out of sight is out of sight and don't say anything. this is a conversation that's come up before with new gun owners who's first inclination is to tell a cop they have a gun in a trunk, which of course welcomes questioning and inspection. Sadly the anti-gun culture in this state makes gun owners feel like they're bending the rules by lawfully carrying a gun in a compartment that they're entitled to privacy for. It's like they have never bent the rules in their life.

When i bought said rifle from him originally the compliancy work was flawless, you can’t even tell it’s been pinned and welded...quality work in, quality work out. 2. who taught you reading comprehension? as for me telling people not to be poor, yes and spending an extra $200 for a repair is not being poor. In my example I said how I was quoted $500 in parts and labor to change out the gas block on my AR-10. the over gassed feeling is annoying, but not $500 annoying. Becomes a choice of “wants” rather than “needs” but when your “needs” do involve a repair over a broken gas block, it’s still extra money spent to comply with do nothing laws. i don't know how i'll sleep tonight

I work for the DoD fixing broken weapons, a lot. ones not abused by our armed forces: not as many, but that depends on the quality rifle you are using. PSA's for example are a gun that you get what you pay for because a $500 rifle doesn't have the same quality control as one that costs $1000, I've read enough reports of blown gas blocks on PSA's that it's not enough to say it's reputable issues of theirs but enough for me to not want to buy one of their guns. Blown gas blocks aren't common, but if they do happen the repair does become costly due to the other work involved to get to it and that comes down to how much is the rifle worth to you? Are you willing to put another $200+ in to a rifle? Of course using PSA as my example again, you probably just buy another $500 rifle from them. More relatable to why i don't like it: pre-FFL days I bought my AR-10, it's a great gun but it is over gassed, I wanted to switch to a POF adjustable gas block...$150 part, I asked the gunsmith who did the compliance work on it originally how much it will cost for me to do the upgrade, adding in a new muzzle brake and the labor associated with the job now became a $500 job to rethread barrel, new brake, pinning it etc. had the brake not been pinned to begin with, I could have done the gas block myself.

personally I hate muzzle brakes on 5.56, I'd rather a 3 prong. The benefits of a brake on a 5.56 rifle is minimal over a flash hider. .308 and bigger calibers? doesn't bother me as much. However much of the reasons a 5.56 rifle being a tactical rifle is gone when you have a brake on it. If you're doing 3 gun sure there's benefits to a muzzle brake. Additionally I don't like having a pinned muzzle device, having to change out the gas block if need be inflates the cost of the repair more, I'm not as concerned about changing rails/free float barrel conversion, I rather just buy a gun that already has what I want there. but if I wanted to change to an adjustable gas block, or have to replace a busted gas block....add on another $200 in repairs to re thread the barrel and put a new brake on when there was nothing wrong with the original one.

Actually that device in California isn’t even approved by law there either, it’s done as a work around to what their laws don’t say. Laws are defined as “rules set by an official letter from governing legislation” you can argue this until your blue in the face with me, but there is nothing in the law explicitly saying it can’t detach when you take weapon apart. It’s safe to assume gun laws are written for how a complete gun operates assembled. you know what evidence brings me to believe this is 100% kosher? Because it involves a shooter to go through hoops to reload and operate their weapon, which means you’re superceding to their control. I also never said this was legal advice or gospel either, I’m just a regular dude with an FFL. I’ll say it again, you’re an adult you can decide to take what you read or hear. But arguing with me over the internet about it provides little value to no one.

There’s no law saying all AR’s and AK’s must have a muzzle brake pinned and welded to the barrel, just a flash hider and threads are an evil feature. there’s no law saying stocks must be pinned, just a folding or telescoping stock is an evil feature....and for your gun to not be an assault weapon it can only have 2 of x amount of features. All of what I mentioned is done to work around the law. Hell if you really wanted an adjustable stock you can put on a nub instead of a pistol grip.....but there’s no explicit law saying “all semi automatic military style rifles must have a muzzle brake pinned to barrel, bayonet lug removed and a pinned stock”

Sigh....for the umpteenth time. Gun laws are written based on how the gun is designed to operate ASSEMBLED. These are the same law makers who believe a person with multiple 10 round mags in a soft target will be less deadly than if they had 1 30rd magazine because the 1 second it takes to reload saves lives. They see you jumping through hoops to change magazines....like disassembling the action, it would appease them because you’re yielding to their power. The gun ASSEMBLED is fixed mag, the gun DISASSEMBLED (which is when the action is broke open) can change mags. Again the law says nothing about taking it apart to change mags being illegal. So again, you’re and adult, make your own decision.

Does the law specify that makes it detachable? Does the law say you can't? you're an adult, you decide how you want to go with it.

100k is not a lot of revenue to be under. They may think it helps Brick & Mortar stores, but nothing helps shitty customer service.
