Rifle in 22LR making a flash

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a rifle chambered in .22LR create a flash? I never shot any at night and observed. The reason that I am asking is that some of the newer 22 rifles come with a flash hider. If there is no flash, there is nothing to hide. So a flash hider on a 22 rifle does nothing and therefore can be left on. Thoughts?

Is there an argument to be made that if a certain firearm is not, nor does it resemble, a weapon on the ban list it could be excluded from certain restrictions?

 

Also, regarding this rifle, does the manual state it as a flash hider or a muzzle break?

Maybe the co, should be notified that it should say (compensator)..
