NJ LAWMAKERS ANNOUNCE PLANS TO DESTROY RIGHT TO CARRY
Cheflife15 replied to M1152's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
When it comes to carrying the accompanying paperwork, under what situations can they ask to see it? I imagine you would have to be involved or suspected of a crime? Similar to demanding id? -
How are you guys carrying the accompanying sheets. I have to have 3 large sheets with me. I'm debating folding them and laminating them and just cutting it open in the rare occasion someone needs to see it.

Is printing illegal? I'll be good for winter but will need something smaller come summer. -

Any updates on concealed vs open? Not that I would open but unfortunately I think I occasionally print (I'm buying bigger shirts and a different holster to hide it). I'm also probably just staring at it and it's something no one else would ever notice. -

Got the call today! Going to pick up my permit tomorrow or Friday. Middlesex County. Took about 120 days. Is there a link to the current state of laws regarding this. Just want to make sure I'm doing it all right. -
Texas: Robber carrying fake gun.....
Cheflife15 replied to Mike77's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
If you have time I always find active self protection on YouTube to be very interesting. One of the points he made that stood out (on a different video) was usually the act of being first to make the call to the police shows a better intent. These are all things the jury will remember. I can't imagine the level of stress that goes into a situation like this but I don't think I would've just left like that. Perspective is everything. -
What's considered a decent price? I have t seen under 1000 for even decent condition in the last 2 years.

In this video it shows him taking a drink at the end and dumping it on the guy at the end too. Even more bizarre behavior in my opinion. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fox26houston.com/news/houston-robbery-suspect-shot-to-death-by-customer-taqueria-gessner.amp -
Texas: Robber carrying fake gun.....

I did find it kind of weird how nonchalant he was. Guy took a life, grabbed his stuff, and left. I guess just shock and adrenaline? -
I purchased the h2 as I don't see myself purchasing night vision. It's an amazing dot..I also purchased a cheap primary arms micro red dot thats fine as well.

I wouldn't suggest leaving the scene after shooting someone. There's cameras everywhere nowadays. It's Texas, you think he'll even catch a charge? -
How do you feel about aero precision complete uppers?
-
Any reason not go get a spikes lower? I've been reading everything is milspec and their customer service is good. Since it's just a plinking gun and long term project maybe I'll get a little crazy with the aesthetics of it.

If you watch the full video it seems like the ccw holder could've had a few chances to stop it earlier but was messing with his holster. Kinda weird he just left after in my opinion. -
Completely agree with this. I'm in sales and sometimes it's better to lose a bit of money upfront to keep your reputation.

Bad Reliability would drive me more nuts than anything else. How do you feel about Aero precision? I'm seeing lots of mixed reviews, with majority of them being positive.

What's that big one on the top right? Is that the .50 beowolf. I had to Google what that even is. I'm not gunna lie ... that sounds cool. I was thinking of building an ar9 but it seems theyre alot more finicky and less forgiving when it comes to reliability? This is my first build. I have a Wilson combat protector and a daniel defense ddm4v7.

This is actually a great point. I have one rifle with 1:7 and one with 1:8. Finding ammo For those is usually more difficult or expensive. I'll do 1:9.
