  1. Yes, but they likely won't be free. Hopefully someone with PACER access will make them available to us.
  2. Only very general comments out of those who attended hearing: I think by "Kai" they mean I think they mean Angela Cai from the NJ AG's office who appeared for the state of NJ.
  3. There's several people from NJ Firearms Owners Syndicate FB group attending, but no reports yet. Cellphones have to be powered off in the court room.
  4. Wrong. It's still a hearing on a TRO. The "conversion" was from an online zoom hearing to an in-person hearing.
  5. It looks like Monmouth County is firing the afterburners to clear out their backlog of PTC applications. Mine went from "submitted to court by PD" to issued in ~30 days.
  6. I've had one for several years on my G19 (got one of the first "production" ones via kickstarter). No issues, other than having to occasionally explain what it is.
  7. In case anyone has a free morning tomorrow: Koon v. Reynolds: "Tomorrow`s (January 5, 2023) 11:00 a.m. hearing on the Motion for a Temporary Restraining Order is converted to an in-person hearing. The hearing will take place in Courtroom 3D, Mitchell H. Cohen Courthouse. So Ordered by Judge Renee Marie Bumb on 1/4/23. (Bumb, Renee) (Entered: 01/04/2023)" Mitchell H. Cohen Building & U.S. Courthouse 4th & Cooper Streets Camden, NJ 08101 856-757-5021
  8. Interesting article on the insurance requirements in San Jose and NJ by an insurance industry publication: https://www.insurancejournal.com/blogs/law-and-economics/2023/01/03/701434.htm
  9. Picked my permit up today. Monmouth County. 10/05/22 - dropped everything off at PD except fingerprints 10/20/22 - Got fingerprinted at IdenToGo 11/01/22 - PD confirmed fingerprints received 11/23/22 - PD advised application approved, sent to court 12/05/22 - Money order cashed 12/19/22 - Monmouth Co. Prosecutor "No Contest" letter rec'd via email 01/03/23 - PD called to say PTC ready for pick up 01/04/23 - PTC picked up
  10. It's hard to be brief because the set of "gotchas" under the new law is so long. You should really read this whole page: https://www.evannappen.com/how-to-get-your-nj-carry-permit/
  11. Gave up on "ink" anything years ago. Brother laserjet for day-to-day printing duties. So far I've had to replace a toner cartridge about once every 2 years. Otherwise, it just prints. If I need to do color anything (99.9999% picture prints), I upload to Costo photos and have them mail me prints.
  12. That's a false statement. The Supreme Court did "touch" it via a GVR. Granted (Certiori), Vacated the previous court's judgement, and Remanded it to be re-tried under the standard set in Bruen.
  13. Yup, both NJ and NY sacrificed their "elites" to keep the proles down. Imagine being a huge D donor/mover/shaker who had an unobtainable carry permit, and suddenly it became worthless...
  14. And once the excitement over the current anti-carry law dies down, the cases to eliminate the 10 round mag limit and NJ's implementation of the AWB will be back in the spotlight, probably shortly followed by elimination of handgun purchase permits and NJ's stupid state-specific NICS delay. Sorry we can't just snap our fingers and be Texas, but as a NJ gun owner it's a great time to be watching these walls come down.
  15. Yup. Did exactly that last time Menendez had to primary. Menendez still won due to all the other brain-dead voters out there, but it felt good!
  16. Schedule for evaluating TRO in the ANJRPC case is set. Possibly may have a TRO on/after 01/09/23: And the 2nd CNJFO case is now seeking a TRO too: So we'll have a race to see which case gets a TRO first.
  17. ANJRPC Plaintiff's (through Dan Schmutter) are filing for TRO today. Looks like the law will likely be in effect until at least early Jan. This is the Plaintiff's suggested schedule - the court could issue a TRO sooner (unlikely), follow the schedule(maybe), or ignore it completely (maybe):
  18. Gov. Murphy and AG Platkin would like to remind you that this safety legislation totally respects the 2nd amendment and the Bruen decision while protecting the citizens of NJ against gun violence:
  19. Right, private property is default prohibited. Insurance - Not aware of any company offering firearm liability coverage in NJ. Recommend you stop looking for logic. This law is not a good faith attempt to "regulate carry". It's a defiant tantrum in response to the Bruen ruling. I honestly don't think they really care too much what makes sense and what doesn't, or what parts end up being enjoined versus allowed to stand - they just wanted to show that they "did something".
