    P.A cc bills

A little while ago.....The PA State Pol. (if Im not mistaken, or some LE in PA) got all upset w/ the FL CCW reciprocity thing. This was due to the poorly worded, could go either way, wording of PA's AG (Tom Corbet) website. They sought to capitalize or distort the reciprocity verbage and say that PA will no longer accept Non-Res FL permits. So live in NJ only and have a FL CCW? You OUT. After an email campaign between Gary Slider of handgunlaw.us and others, as well as myself, (still have the emails) PA's AG changed the wording to CLEARLY define PA's CCW to be able to recip w/ out-of-state, non-res CCW's issued from FL. FL was very helpful and appreciated our efforts to get the two states to communicate with eachother and clarify a position. Every citizen should be more active to those in gov't who really are supposed to be responsible to YOU. There are big shot city politicians who are ready to Bloomberg-tize PA. But I hope and believe it will defeated in Harrisburg. Tho no guarantees there. *Might I snipe a tad at NJ and say. Our sun would red-giant and consume our planet, the BP oil spill was actually spewing out diamonds, gold and a cure for cancer & death, before this would ever happen here in NJ. (You all know this is no exaggeration.)
  3. NC reciprocates w/ the FL CCW. Check the NC AG's website before you go. I wouldn't git all my answers just from internet forums alone. Go right to the source.
  4. I am 1000% for this....But can't help hearing voices in my head that say; "Pigs are flying on MARS!!!"
  5. They *may* have outta state carry permit and prolly have a outta state "working carry permit". But the said individual is somewhat arrogant. Not very helpful to his cause. But...... So, a "mandatory" sentence is still LIMITED in it's application?
  6. If caught as a NON-NJ resident with a loaded handgun strapped to your side and exiting personal vehicle DURING a police stop (in NJ) with NO carry permits or NJ(FID) card and probably loaded and chambered with hollow points? Not personal experience thank God. Just wondering....Isn't there a mandatory JAIL-TIME in there somewhere, besides a speeding ticket?
  7. What about a valid/current US Passport? Certainly, buying a gun in a Free State does not mandate a driver's license. Let's say I'm a Billionaire, I'm 70 yrs old, I get privately chaufeurred EVERYWHERE I go. I have residents in multiple states Free and non. Interesting dilema...
  8. I am wondering now...What if you have a legal bona-fide residence in BOTH states?
  9. That's a great website and resource. Put me down for the "C-93" or HK-93 clone. I dont even want to guess about the 'legalities' on that one....
  10. This list shows where some study deemed that the residents of the states were most "happy" with their well being and whichever state it corrolated to. Not surprising....IN GENERAL. The heavier the regulatory policy of the particular state, the lower on the happiness scale it goes. Key word here I believe is intense 'regulatory policy', something we are used to in this state. Here: http://www.livescience.com/culture/0912 ... -list.html
  11. Well, besides Fox...here's a local newspaper's take on it: http://www.courierpostonline.com/articl ... 1006/rss01 If you look towards the middle portion of the page, it has an, "Interactive Homicide Map" for '07, '08, '09......and mine as well include '10 next year too. I work ALL OVER the WORST places in Philly and I can tell you Phila is like thug/gansta/drug pusha/pimp city. Like any large city basically. However.... Camden is like a large severely mental hospital that busses it's patients in around 3pm everyday, lets them loose and picks them back up from the city around 6am the next morning, to be delivered back to the mental hospital, until the next 'outting'.
  12. Umm...no disrespect here either. But Damageworld isn't the one that sounds 'childish' here. :|
  13. Well said. I keep all my paperwork with me and with the rifles, NOT because I need to, but because it's...NJ. Whether it be 922R stuff, proof of purchase, etc... Come to think of it. If my budget allows, I'd maybe look into a Saiga 5.45, if there is one. Also, fellow forum members. You could buy a pump 12 gauge with pistol grip and a collapsible stock, here in NJ. But pls, no crusading to our AG who is further out in left-field than almost the...entire country.
  14. Damagedworld nailed it for me. But pls do us all a favor and don't draw this type of negative attn to all us Saiga hunting rifle owners. Our NJ AG will scream BAN!!! at the mere hint of a pin drop or when "AK" is even whispered. You can buy a Ruger Ranch Mini 30 hunting rifle in the identical caliber as a 7.62 x 39 Saiga in NJ. It is even piston driven. It could be substantially identical to a Ruger Mini-14 which also comes as a select fire/full auto AC-556 which can come w/ flash hider, bayonet lugs, pistol grip, folding stock, etc, etc, and is a named "Banned" rifle on the SP 'list'. Just shows the confusion out there regarding this whole thing. Shows how UTTERLY USELESS and VILE the "AWB" really is.
  15. Ooookay..... I have two Saiga rifles bought in & from Southern NJ. These are/use AK100 Series actions/internals, but are altered in a way so as not capable of accepting "AK" mags, etc. These are imported as hunting rifles and NO doubt they do well in that respect. They do not have flash suppressors, lugs or all the other 'scary' features that NJ is paranoid about. Comes with box detach mag with 10-rds or less. Soooooo.....what's the prob??? Also, nothing gets 'expired' in NJ. NJ practices letting 'Genie out of bottle' legislative policies regarding that pesky 2nd Amend thing... Run Genie RUN!!! You're FREE!!! (Note: Could also be applied to state's draconian regulatory policies, property tax policies, soon to be-high gas taxation policy, fee's/fines/tolls, upcoming 'national sales tax' piggybacked onto state sales tax.) Depressing....
  16. I believe you are in very grey area territory. There are (BAD & VERY cheesy colored) "AR type" "pistols" being sold in NJ w/ SHORT barrels, less than 16"(?) and NO stock. Not 'decked out' like these, but you get the point: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b ... 2&t=245757 Of course, there is no "allowance" for ANY collapsable stock on ANY rifle, (w/ shotguns as exceptions). I believe the stock on your Saiga (and mine) might be too long? Or better yet. It is 'classified' on your paperwork originally as a 'rifle' and therefore would remain as such. I would love these rifle "pistols" and it would be the only way around SBR regs -IMO. NJ just sucks.
  17. It is easy for most folks in NJ who are obviously brain-washed by the far left to become far-left in their ways even though compared to the national scene, we are truly, FUBAR WACKED OUT left wingers in this state. This to me is sad and dangerous because it essentially mandates a one party only system/heirarchy and is unbalanced, to say the least. Secondly, I believe this creates a discriminatory situation for gun-rights advocates whereby they are painted as some kinda "right-wing radical" or worse. Which to me compounds plenty of the APATHY by the gun owning residents of NJ, who would otherwise be hardcore for example, if they lived in Texas. So yes, many gun owners who should stand up, but dont, are in fact, "pussies" in NJ. But I'd like to say goto: http://www.familywatchdog.us/ or the NJ State PoPo's website: http://www.njsp.org/info/reg_sexoffend.html Then, realize that we have no ctrl over who moves in or out of our neighborhoods. We cannot harass the sex offenders etc., it is unlawful to do so. So now, when you have 20 living within a mile from your house? Makes gun ctrl nuts (or a realtor) look silly now don't it? You are at work, wife at home with kids and they call you at work to tell you they would like to walk to a local park. What do you do? Remember, no CCW in NJ. You are grocery shopping w/ the kids in a upper class area. But it just happens to be bordering a slum neighborhood filled with dirtbags (not uncommon in NJ). What do you do? At night, loading food into your car? Or if it's just your wife and kids, since you are at home watching the game? As far as I know, most sex offenders possess two legs and can walk or even take the bus. Your wife owns a small retail store that sells lottery tickets, cigarettes and candy. There are alot of people who go thru her store on a daily basis. It's Friday night 10:00pm. She collects the receipts from the busy day and is preparing to close the store. You are on a fishing trip with your buddies on a boat and having a few beers about 15 miles out to sea from Avalon. Think it's all getting better? Add you own scenario here:_____________________________________________ Point is, I never knew there were so many scumbags near me whom I know and have seen for sure and have crossed paths with just going about my business. So chances are, you or someone you know have too. Also, remember, while cops try to protect you and serve as a great deterrent. The reality is: they are even greater historians after the fact, at a serious crime scene. Remember, these are just "Registered Sex Offenders", NOT thieves, bank robbers, arsonists, etc... Check your zip code or address today. Will put a chill down you spine.
  18. I have a converted Saiga 7.62 and a .308 unconverted NIB. Both 16" w/skeletal stk. I have (2) parts in excess of 922r 'requirements' for the 7.62. Try Butch's Gun World in Vineland, NJ. They are very friendly and specialise in these type of sporting rifles based on the AK type platform. That other place is a total rip-off. I see some of you are from forum.Saiga.
  19. Well, i dunno about all that NJ mind ctrl stuff but, I'd take it to the range and see if your pistol would cycle reliably & safely, with whatever chosen ammo you'd use. That's just a given.
  20. First off, you are implying that you have a Class III full auto. Which is quite a "no-no" in NJ. Second, you want to make it into a SBR "Short Barrel Rifle" in conjunction with a Class III full auto status. Mine as well go for the full package and apply for a suppressor. So therefore, your answer is: NO WAY IN HELL!!! Gawd, NJ sucks.
  21. LOL.... Thanks NJ. That was better than the Sunday comics!
  22. Just for all that, I just bought a 50-rd box of Speer Gold Dot HOLLOWPOINTS in .45 ACP +P 200 gr. Good stuff.... Thank you Jersey City. 8-)
  23. Well....we are ALL HUGELY dissapointed with this. Even non-gun owners should be. This 'paves the way' for rationing on ANYTHING that the 'State' sees as a potential hazzard. Whether it be paint thinner, plastic bags, lawnmowers, cars, carbs, fat, etc, etc.... Well, I think we/someone/NRA/Joe Schmoe, should file suit against NJ in light of Heller vs. DC, in the SCOTUS against this gun rationing scheme dreampt up by Korzine. Who, BOUGHT his way into office knowing that he can successfully run as a hardline Old European-style Socialist and WIN in NJ. Wall Street 'Genius' at work indeed. Remember, this gov. does NOT even obey his own seatbelt laws and right after his lil 90+ MPH hwy shenanigans (in which he could have died), he had the BALLS to set up roadside "checkpoints" for SEATBELT violations (LIKE WE ARE DUMMIES TOO OR SOMETHING). I remember, because I was ALL over Jersey at that time for a transport co. I see alot more than most, I'm like a satellite. We are breeding future welfare, charity care, unemployment basket cases with our NJ politics. Sad to say....But we are beyond help. That's when we need to sue.
