I have a 4x4. It's a real truck with a locking diff and 4x4 low with 255/55 snow tires on it. I also have a Subaru WRX. The "Rice Burner" gets around in the snow just as well as the 4x4. I gotta agree with you here bud....those pansy CARS that have a button you can push to get you into "4wd" is NOT 4wd. Its not 4wd unless you have a separate shifter. imo of course. Its not 4wd unless you've got lockers.

My plan is for everyone to come here and bring all the food they have stockpiled. They are also requested to bring more guns/ammo. The plan is to hunker down and setup a perimeter, however if that's not working we will pack up and convey to remote places.

Wow is all I can say about some of these replies. Standing on the passenger side of a vehicle is not magically going to protect you, sure it can make it safer. And whoever is saying don't make a stop somewhere hazardous, its kind of hard to control where a car breaks down and where they crash. I think it's a good law, however no I don't think it'll make me safer. The seatbelt law I didn't know about, thanks for the link.
