I was told at a meeting of my gun club that one of our members friend works for Gov. Christie and the he is not going to veto the mag. bill. He has met with the Tea Party and Dems to get their support for his future employment by not vetoing the bill. I hope this is wrong but its the second time I have heard this.

I just spoke to my Senator and he stated that there is no support for a grandfather bill on the magazines already legally owned. Even though three Senators on the Law and Public Safety Committee voice concern about this matter. This is politics at its worst.

Fox news tonight said Christie is at a Republican convention all week. I don't know how he will be able to veto the bills he will be back on monday?

Did he go out of buisness?

I dropped off my application to NJ State Police Barracks and they told me it would be 7 months to get my pistol permits. I have an FID card and had many permits before. This is just outrageous to wait 7 months when the law says 30 days. Is there any recourse?

If the vote today in the Law and Public Safety that was stopped by the Chairman after it was started and this is a violation of legislative rules who can we contact to take action of this violation.

There is no accountability when it comes to firearms permits or law. No one seems to care in this state. Not a priority.

I want to know also if the 10 round magazine bill was moved today. If not it will probably go on Thursday

Where can I fine out what Sen Sweeney and Give Christe said today. Cant find anything on the web. Got an email from NJ2a and they said Sweeny proposed 12 bills to include a 10 round magazine ban

This bill is going way to far. So everytime you go to a doctors office, get a blood test or requested a photo ID every scumbag out there is going to know where they can come and burglarized your house to get firearms. This is the worst bill I have seen yet.

Has anyone heard any recent news from Sweeney or any other news from Senate on the recent guns bills passed by the Assembly. Thinks have been too quiet.

As of yesterday the NJ State NICS checks were 1700 checks behind. Its taking at least 7 days. But everyday it keeps increasing by one day because the back log keeps getting larger. No end in sight.
