Yea I saw that they had the cheapest ammo, but you have to be 21 to order from them. Three more weeks 8-) So I guess I will just wait the three weeks, then order from them. Never heard of running windex through it, but Im definitely going to research cleaning after using corrosive ammo. I live in Ewing. If you need some ammo, I can sell you some. Take a look around the threads here - I learned a lot about guns and mosins. Also the 7.62x54R.net forums.

Well - no success. Went to the Walmart in Levittown, PA - no guns at all... only ammo... so I picked up 2 boxes of 100 12GA shells. $20/box. Prepping for clay shooting. Picked up a thrower and a box of clays too... heh. Then stopped by the Dick's in Princeton. They had the Mossberg 500 Field/Deer combo that Bulpup has, but not the Field/Security combo. I'll call up the Dick's in Woodbridge and East Brunswick to see if they have 'em. I got the Dick's item # from the guy so we'll see if anyone has it.

Do you have ammo yet? Wideners is the cheapest place to pick it up, but it's corrosive ammo so you'll have to run windex through it to break up the salts. Also - where in Central Jersey are you?

Yeah I'm not worried about it. From shooting clays at CR last time, 4+1 is enough.

Yeah I'm not sure if it's a 4+1 or 5+1. The Mossberg website says it's a 6 shot capacity, which is 5+1. BudsGunShop.com says it's a 4+1.

Thanks, Urban Grunt. Yeah after some more research and browsing on their website and others, it doesn't look like the Persuader/Cruiser shotguns can take chokes. They're cylinder bore only. That combo I'm looking at now can take chokes on the 28" barrel which is perfect.

Yeah I'd rather spend a little less for the fake wood if I'm gonna change it. Plus the Field/Security combo comes with a pistol grip as well..... in black.... I just wish the combos that they sell came with black stocks instead of the fake wood. I see they have the Field/Security combo. 28" Vent Rib field barrel that can take chokes, and the 18.5" home defense barrel. I think I'll pick up this one.

There was a huge stink about the photos being stored in a computer at one airport. They're supposed to be automatically deleted. Personally, I've been through one of these scanners - they have them at San Francisco International airport. It's an added PITA. I don't like them. Personally I've always felt that whatever security they've added to the airports since 9/11 (especially the retarded liquid stuff) has just been a hinderance to all travellers.

Yeah - I shot "skeet" from a thrower close by - which was ok with some of the Cyl Bore guns. EchoMirage had one, as well as Bulpup. However, with such a short barrel I was looking to potentially get a choke for it so I could use it for clay shooting a little bit better than just cyl bore.

Thanks. Are the threads on the inside or outside? I don't really know what to look for in these. Unless someone's selling something like I want, I think I have to go around to a bunch of stores take a look and research
