I never did get to actually shoot them. I ended up going with what I wanted when I walked in the store. The Kahr PM9. It actually feels pretty good in my hand. My pinky rests naturally on the bottom of the mag. The Walther is really nice but, quite a bit larger. I also got it for vacation carry, SCOTUS willing I'll be able to carry it here one day. I'm 5'9, 180# so same issues as far as concealment. Also, I tried really hard to make a deal with that local gun shop but, they wouldn't come within $100 of the price I paid. It should be in this week and I'll pick it up at Ira's.

I don't know. A crime of that type and that old should not ruin the guy's life. I do have to wonder though, why he didn't have it expunged years ago. Especially going into politics. You don't want any old dirt to come back and haunt you. Also, how did it not get rejected by the FBI or state police?

3 Permits to purchase a hangun forms arrived today. 36 days. While I don't think we should have to get these stupid forms in the first place, and if we do it shouldn't take more that a week, I'm still very pleased with turn around this time. Next week Kahr PM9, next month Ruger 22/45, and November, I don't know?

Match how? Color? Even a Stag lower is not garanteed to match. Other than buying a matched set from Spikes, Mega, RRA, etc. there is a very good chance the color will be slightly different.

4 months isn't bad. If you really don't want to wait, order a complete lower and rebuild it the way you want. It would cost you a few more bucks but, you could always sell the parts you remove.

Yeah, you can pick up a nice Leupold Mark AR 3-9 for about one third that cost. Good luck on your decision. Remember, if you don't like what you choose, you can always buy something else.

like this? It's the same gun, i sold the Aimpoint and magnifier to buy the ACOG. The combo worked well enough, I just didn't care for the magnifier hanging off to the side when shooting at 1x. But, that was just my preference. Some people love the combo. (Besides, I always wanted an ACOG. And eventually, talked myself into it).

That's actually one of the problems I have with valhalla, not much info. From what i have read it seems that the scopes are NcStar scopes packaged up with cheap red dot sights and sold by valhalla. If you want a 3-9 scope on your AR find a decent quality standard scope and forget about an ACOG look a like. The one on my M4 is an ACOG TA31DOC. But, I have a serious illness when it comes to my gear.

Yellowshaker, This is your project, so get what you want. As far as my own experience, the PRS stock is great, for a heavy target rifle that you shoot from a bench or prone. Mine weighed in at about 13 pounds, no fun to shoot that off hand. Putting it on a carbine not only adds weight but, changes the balance. Really? Is this just for PP's or FID as well? I put my PP's apps in a month ago and really don't feel like waiting 2 more months. In the past, they have only taken about 6 weeks for PP's. My FID and first PP took about 90 days though.

I wasn't serious. I was at my cousins house last week in PA. He picked up 2 of the 60 rounders. Everytime I come back across the Delaware, I hate this place a little more.

You could call but, you would be better off stopping by. I spent 20 minutes waiting while they looked for a p290 they knew was in stock. Only to find out it had been sold a week earlier.

I wouldn't think so. Maybe it's a local version of operation gunwalker? You know, sell guns to criminals so gun crimes rise and they can pass more gun laws.
