  1. I was going to get a 10/22 for some cheap range fun. Then started reading about their lack of accuracy, so I figured I could just change the barrel, trigger and stock. After adding all that up I said what the hell, spend a couple hundred more and get a full custom built 10/22 from Tony Kidd. At least it will still be cheap to shoot. Can't wait until the weather breaks.
  2. I'm sure. I went 2 weeks ago. It was either 3 or 5%, I was busy running my mouth and missed whether he said 3 or 5. I'd rather use Coinstar. It's 9%, but at least they are up front about it.
  3. When TD was Commerce, the change counting machines were free. Now,3%. Which of course they don't tell you until after your done.
  4. Hell yeah, I'd love to have Shatner as POTUS. The Denny Crane Shatner.
  5. The 4200's and 3200's have been discontinued. There a few still available and at close out prices. The 6-24x40 4200 is $500 and the Sightron 6-24x42 is $475 with rebate. I hate these kinds of decisions!
  6. Trying to decide between these two and don't have any personal experience with either. Which has the better glass and overall quality? Sightron Bushnell
  7. Try the price request, you might be surprised. Price Request
  8. 1. Application type - FID with 1 PP 2. Police Department where you applied. Old Bridge 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD. Records Dept. 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. 85 days for initial. 40 days for another PP. 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). None 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney, etc.). They don't tell you much when you call just the "It's on the Chief's desk waiting to be signed" routine. Then it just shows up in the mail, no call before hand.

    My first Sig

Picked up my Sig P220 Carry SAS last week from Vinny. Now I just need a break from the snow and ice to get to the range and try it out.
  10. I was a little hesitant about buying one myself. So, I built two of them. B)
  11. Lovely Elizabeth. The only town to refuse to participate in the NJSP Gang Survey. Very Anti-Gun town. Sad to say, a threatining letter from an attorney or notifying the NJSP wont do you much good. The only thing that matters in Elizabeth is what Mayor Chris says. He's part of that whole Lesniak, Cryan crew. Your best bet is if you know anyone in the police dept. Talk to them and see if they could nudge the chief for you.

    Dell

Screw Dell and HP!!! Dell is about to close their last plant in the US. All of their products will be made and assembled in China. My wife works for HP, she's one of a very few Americans that still has a support job that hasn't been outsourced to India.
  13. Depends on the town. Old Bridge didn't send reference letters for my PPP. I applied on 12/7 and received my permit on 1/14. My references are still waiting for the letter, maybe I should let them know it's not coming.
  14. Thanks. It's a YHM barrel as well on the M4. Lothar on the 20".
  15. That JP brake is nice on my 20" target AR but I don't know about on a 16". I have the YHM Phantom brake/comp on my 14.5", looks great. http://www.yhm.net/store/muzzle.html
  16. Kahr PM40 or PM45. Might be a little rough though.
  17. Striker fired single action. Too bad, it does look nice though.
  18. They should have also asked if he was going to waste our money fighting the pending lawsuit.
  19. I can't buy into a NY poll. Now, if it was in the Star Ledger than it would mean something.
  20. Just remember, that compensator/brake, needs to be pinned and welded.
  21. Huge blow? I don't think so. Look at the source, District of souhern California. If any place is more F'd up than Jersey, it's Cali. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see all or at least most of the current suits filed be dismissed or lost. Which is fine, we just need to get at least one to the SCOTUS, where we will hopefully get a ruling that will have to be enforced throughout the entire US.
