Got ya, I don't agree with it either, but we have to do what we have to for now. To me I find it offensive when people even use the term "high capacity" in the first place. As long as you do this before you cross the state line back to NJ you ok in a state that doesn't have a restriction lower than NJ's. but you by letter of the law can't make these changes yourself in the state of NJ unless you are an FFL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Valid point, there are many things that you can do, but it also depends on the penalty of if you loose that has to be taken into account. I know, the above about loaded mags is is legal by letter of the law, well yes you can, but if your in a position of needing to defend yourself about that, I would also think something else came up that caused the search in the first place. Can't say I would suggest defending yourself in that situation, I feel each case would need to be taken on the totality of the charges as well as punishment possibilities. One thing I have done is also thank the supports of our rights, there have been a few threads on who they are, and as we are wrist upping and calling the others, it's probably a good thing we don't forget to give our thumbs up to the folks that support us at the same time. I'll take it as they were broadcasting a live feed, or slightly delayed feed, that only gives up what is being done outside to apprehend the person, not sure about you, but I wouldn't want to be in that position of trying to take the person inside down. Hey Bertus, the people here are very helpful and are willing to take their time to answer questions. Many times the exact answer isn't reached in the first post or 2 but a lot of other relevant information is passed along. This would be for both yours and others benefits. You want an exact question answered and not here anything else, well that's probably not going to happen on here or in person to who ever you asked your question to. Not sure, but this is the 3rd company that has done something similar and I know I have as well as many others here have contacted other firearms companies and asked them to do the same. Anyone want to show the law that prohibits the transportation of a loaded mag?? Please post what the charge would be, not "well it's a good idea to do something extra and not cause attention". Because if your in the position that your getting searched in the first place, something else has gone wrong already. In other words, let pass along law as that, and note that while something is with in the law, many people may do X as an additional safety precaution.
