  1. Thank you all for this great advise! I will go for a M&P 9L, replace the front sight with some sort of fiber-optic, and run it in production for awhile to get used to it. Then see where it takes me after that.
  2. +1 on the MPro7 +1 on the Slip2000 EWL

    All Metal BUG?

What is a BUG match, and are there any in NJ?
  4. Also left at 9:30. Tried to find you and Mike, but it was just people everywhere grabbing the folders, chairs flying around, and jam-up in the parking lot.
  5. It was great to see you again Mike, and to meet you in person Bryan!
  6. I have a set of Seth stands and they are great, dont need to stake them as they are very stable on strong wind. I would like to support the locals, how stable are these (3lbs vs 6lbs)? http://www.gttargets.com/paperstands.htm Which part of NJ is Karl local to for delivery, north/south/central?
  7. It depends if you are using it for bullseye or not. It could also depend if its a newer or older batch cx4, and round count with the stock trigger. Mine is polymer not rubber, and from the few reports here does not flex like some are saying. If it was really that bad there would be more than one person making replacements. I may change my mind if I tried one with the SP trigger, but the current condition of my stock trigger does not having me shelling out the clams. Of course, the same can be said for the spring rod, of which I did replace mine for reliability.
  8. It also reduces muzzle jump, and prevents rust
  9. I kept the stock trigger (mine feels fine), but did swap out the plastic guide rod for the SP steel one. If you split the storm open incorrectly you can easily snap the flimsy floopy stock plastic guiderod. I have the moerse barrel shield, its extremely lightweight, looks good, and functionally keeps you from burning your hands on the barrel. Maybe instead of a vert grip, you can go with a magpul AFG.

But now they are building a clubhouse, can watch the race during target changes. I wonder if the cost will go up?
  11. Got it. So, with CJ having over 2700 members, how does it not get crowded on Saturdays? Do they have any plans to limit membership in the future?
  12. That makes sense. So what was Dave taking about, has he been to cj? Anyway, does the CJ clubhouse have wifi access?
  13. At Dix the berm is way in the back, and the target stands can be setup at multiple distances, same for Easton, same for Shongum. So this is not the case at CJ? I would only be able to shoot pistol at 25/50, and rifle at either 200 or 300? So why is this club so popular and has over 2500 members?
  14. For the outdoor rifle and pistol ranges, is there a minimum target distance? For example, if I am shooting on the rifle range and also want to mix in some pistol, can I set up my target stands at 100, 50 and 15?
  15. Can you shoot a 9mm carbine like the storm on the indoor range or in the pits?
  16. JJ was practicing during obrams last week. Guess I dont need to mention he was very fast and accuate
  17. That is what I thought. I have a comp bug, big time! Was trying to save a bit and convert something I had, and not get onto another calibur, but I think I just need to get a G22 in 40 and kit it.
  18. Has anyone shot a 1911 with a compensator? With a slow boulder slung out of these, is there enough gas to make a comp worth it for 230 grain 45?
  19. I am also happy with the stock trigger once it was broken in. I did change out for the steel guiderod.
  20. Will be there at 8:30 with my son. He attended the latest uspsa training up in Shongum.
  21. The website says 10am. What time is registration, 9 - 9:30?
