  1. I've read somewhere brands to avoid are Rock Island Armory, Armscor, Para, Charles Daly, and other non-American/Euro brands (Sub $800). Are they just snobs?
  2. That too! I already have a P226 9MM/22LR setup. Time to add this to my collection..
  3. I'd love to add .45 in my collection. Problem is I won't get plenty of trigger time on it b/c .45 ammo is expensive!! I'll never have time to reload. Maybe 9MM 1911.

  5. If you are ordering 2000 i'm in for sharing 1000. let me know. But no more than 45min drive from GWB
  6. Thanks for confirming. Do you know (or anyone) if the use of tube speedloader automatically bumps you to open division? My shotty itself does not qualify in the open division, though its semi-auto.
  7. Action Steel allows shotgun regularly correct? Or is it a side match or special event? The other 2 steel matches does not allow shotgun but permits rimfire/pistol caliber carbine if I recall correctly.
  8. That's a good price! I may have to lower my sale, I bought mine much more than than.
  9. + 1 Sig recommends CCI mini-mag for my P226 conversion but I was having failure to feed. Blazer seem to have fixed that. I use cci-mini mag for my M&P 15-22 and it runs flawless!! I'm not sure if Ruger recommends or certified ammos for your pistol but M&P does Recommended ammo by S&W for M&P 15-22 Good 22LR Ammo CCI Mini-Mag CCI standard velocity Aguila Super Extra Std Velocity Aguila Super Extra Ext Velocity Federal American Eagle Federal Game Shock Winchester Super-X High Velocity S&W listed not to use Remington Gold Bullet Remington Target 22 Sub-sonic Brands and Types Remington Thunderbolt Winchester Wildcat
  10. I just ordered more M&P magazines so I can join next time.
  11. Seems like the thing to do is buy firearms that you wont mind giving up. Think of disposable. No more expensive or custom firearms! Disposable and reliable like Glocks instead of HK or custom 1911. Will this make me buy less or stop from spending and accessorizing my firearms? Probably not :-(
  12. Good to know... I guess bottom line is "it" can be taken away from you even if you have not committed a crime or someone in your household (or a buddy crashing at your place?) is the subject of focus.
  13. New lowered price for others. Keep in mind the ACE stock is complete - ARFX needs A2 tube.
  14. Excellent! a lot of the competition model are 22" or 24". Do you think you're at a disadvantage by making it 18.25" against the 22"/24" in 3-gun competition?? Tactically and HD this is perfect! Thanks for the detailed photo and specs. I definitely know what I will be looking for. Too bad the JM930 is not released yet.
  15. The question pertains to firearms being taken away or asked to surrender because of NON-criminal act. Let’s say defending yourself from imminent harm and danger in your home or someone files a restraining order. A civil complaint or someone pressing charges against you for non-firearm related matter. All non-criminal act or intent. Will the law take away the firearms of the household or individual??? If my firearms were taken will my wife be able to obtain a firearm with her FID in order to have at least something in the household to defend ourselves (maybe bad guy retaliation?). Will she be permitted to purchase after the confiscation or not allowed? Will her firearms be taken (if she has any) b/c she’s in the same household? My question spurred from this news http://mobile.nj.com...ntguid=ENiEbKwJ where relative's firearms were taken as well. And this post http://njgunforums.c...__1#entry443558 where his firearms were taken. Does it automatically apply to household or just individual?
  16. I'm kinda liking this! - http://aimprotactica...tion_master.htm With exception to a 6 magazine tube of course..
  17. both are used (less than a year old) but excellent condition.
  18. Great tip!! thanks. do it right the 1st time..
  19. If I get a 930 Special Purpose model with 8 or 7+1 magazine capacity and replace it with +1 mag tube that would make it Jersey legal of 6 + 1 correct? Are all 930 SP 5 + 1 and what determines final capacity is the type of mag extension? So in essence I could also get 5 + 1 model and add +1 Mag Extension and still be Jersey legal? I'm a bit confused on the spec - http://www.mossberg....2&display=specs Some indicate 5+1 and others indicate "just 5" (or 7+1 and 8). I was under the impression its always +1 because you can load the chamber and thats not counted as magazine capacity. Either that or go with M2 which is 5 and get a +1 extension (7 total in gun?). I have not seen either in person but looks, quality, fit and finish is also important aside from outstanding performance of course.
  20. I guess its like carrying a trophy around and proud of their "accomplishments in life". Thank goodness some BG's are dumb and help us cleanup society.
