I am going to go with both, but will add two more beliefs that are not in a gray area.... The politicians are not just ignorant but are utterly stupid, and like power just a little too much. It is sad when all they way up to the elitist gov. there is no justice or common sense beginning with the officer(s) and the DA. What is the charge besides hollow-brained legislation pertaining to the firearm?

The police officer and prosecutor should be personally liable as well and sued by the town that hired them as well as the victim. And the government attorney that is overseeing this and hasn't thrown it out. Yes, there are some FUDDs and LEO Fudds on here that live in fantasy land and believe that a portion of the citizenry, including LEOs are actually virtuous American with common sense and a regard for just laws and personal freedoms and that would want the same justice afforded to them. I have had discussions with LEOs that said that common sense would be issued during these stops and then hypocritically turned around and told me flat out that they would just arrest and let it get sorted out at the station in cuffs. For example legal long guns can be transported properly unloaded, cased and locked in the back of a vehicle pretty much all of the time unless you go where they are not allowed such as school property, etc.. However, imagine getting pulled over ANY time by a LEO, and especially say at 11:30 at night. Does anybody think that they would NOT be arrested on the spot? There are actually MORE restrictions with actual HP Ammo than there are with handguns per say, and the Federal Law that protects those passing through a state of tyranny doesn't hold up with HP ammo. The funny thing, though, is that the man didn't actually HAVE HP Ammo. AND, as a armed-guard I would think just with many LEOs and court officials, he may have a justifiable need to have tinting on his windows to further protect him with his line of work. Where is the outrage that this respectable minority citizen was targeted... not that I have any qualms that a respectable caucasian non-illegal Alien would not have been victimized the same in New Jersey. What is going on in Roselle Park?

The cleverly written The Ranch starring that knucklehead Ashton Kutcher in its last season suddenly veers hard left... Now I have ammunition to get my wife to cancel our Netflix subscription. In truth, I wanted her to get rid of it along time ago, especially when it supported the Obama demigod. I never sat down to watch The Ranch but heard an occasional one-liner as I passed through the family room and watched masculinity being made fun of. I told my wife that it was subtly making fun of conservative American values which she couldn't readily see, but then she pointed out to me that she thought I had been right when toward the end it espoused anti-gun and anti-capitalism rhetoric and values. Netflix's 'The Ranch' Goes Gun Control. My wife was a little shocked at how far Left it veered right at the end. I pointed out on seeing the particular episode hightlights she pointed out that it was appealing to the "all children Left Behind" mentality and supporting the radical Left's agenda and how ridiculous Winger's character was. I would have said it before I saw this, but I will say it openly now, don't waste your time on this crap. Hollywood and Netflix you know where you can shove your canned laughter. It has always been amazing to me how much political propaganda is pushed in just about ALL the media whether subtle or bold, whether it be "news" or entertainment or sports.

The only way is to vote out the Statist Democrats and elect Constitutionally-oriented Americans to overturn the tyrannical laws, unless you have connections to the Democrat elite. The last option is to move to the USA.

Abusing animals is horrible and those that do it should face criminal charges. And, those that have animal abuse in their background should be assessed for their mental status, however, linking anything other than a felony conviction of aggravated animal cruelty concerning animals (on its own merit) should not be grounds for barring firearms ownership. By the way, why stop there, Leftists. Anyone charged and convicted with animal cruelty should be barred from voting and running for politics. As with anything "Progressive" and "leftists", look at all possible options/actions and/or non-options and the wrong thing and the wrong focus and the wrong logic will always be applied. Lets, instead, focus on the actual animals that use firearms, and in particular "abusive" way.

There is a small Ukranian company that is endeavoring to create nice knives entitled BPS Knives... So, what are some of your characteristics? Grind? Metal Type? Style? Grip Material? Do you like Scandi or Flat Grind? My favorite Scandi "budget" blade is the Mora Garberg and my favorite flat style is the Becker BK16. However, the ultimate budget blade is the Condor Terrasaur.

What are some of your thoughts on knives for the outdoors? I think the best value in a Bushcraft Knife is the Condor Terrasaur with its Scandi grind. I am a big fan of Moras, and in particular I like the Companion HD, Eldris, and of course the Garberg. Condor has some other nice knives as well, including the Bushlore and their version of the Kephart. I am also a big fan of the PKS knive shop and its Scorpion. What are some of your thoughts?
