  1. I'm no metals trading expert, but since I have some gold investments I do follow the price and trading reports. According to this report, at the moment Comex can't come up with a 400 oz. gold bar. Here's the gist of it: "So what does all of this mean? Is there not even one vaulted 400 oz gold bar in the whole of New York? Why is COMEX rushing in a new contract deliverable in 400 oz gold bars when it is reporting that there are zero 400 oz gold bars in its approved vaults. Is this all just a smoke and mirrors exercise with the bullion bankers in London and New York laughing over champagne as mainstream new reports claim the very same bankers are scrambling to charter private jets laden with gold bars from London to New York? And finally, are JP Morgan vault staff currently scrambling to rush 400 oz gold bars across the tunnel between the NY Fed gold vault and Chase Manhattan gold vault under Liberty Street in southern Manhattan? Inquiring minds would like to know." Could it be someone is anticipating a problem with the U.S. dollar? Especially now that Trump and some members of Congress are talking about ANOTHER $2,000 Billion 'stimulus' bill? Hat tip to Zero Hedge for the isotope nomenclature.
  2. Well I remember Ray's too. I'm sure I bought the Python at Edelman's, so I just looked at the P2P. It was their store on Route 46 in Wayne. I confused the Ray's location with Edelman's. I have to credit the salesman for steering me to it. I knew very little about guns at that time, and bought the first one to find out why I was so afraid of them, and if the fear was justified. It was a 'factory tuned' version that received a little extra attention and cost me around $400 in 1978. I thought that was really expensive (especially considering my weekly salary at the time) but I thought the revolver was beautiful and the trigger was smooth as butter. (Little did I know!) The rest, as they say, was history.
  3. Ah, Leslie Edelman's Route 22 Watchung (or thereabouts). Where I bought my very first firearm. 6" Blue Steel Factory Tuned Colt Python. Still glad I listened to the salesman!
  4. Oh, OK. Now, in addition to the Tueller Drill we're going to have the Corona Drill.
  5. I came across this data study from Ammo.com this morning. They published consumption figures by state up through March 27. Texas gets the first place award. BTW, in 9mm still only Gold Dot and Federal HST in stock at TargetSportsUSA, and at the usual prices.
  6. The LA County Sheriff has given up too and opened the gun shops in the county.
  7. 201 Gregson St in Durham, NC (intersection with Peabody St)
  8. OK, you are correct. I just tested it and got the same error when submitting. That was not the case when I submitted my complaint. When I tested it before I did not actually submit something; just check that the page was valid. Now get this. I went to the IT contact page, filled out the form and specified the page failure, and when I hit the "Contact Us!" button to submit it I got: 404 Error That page doesn't exist! They must have shut down all the contact pages. Maybe they've been overwhelmed with all of it, not just the firearm complaints.
  9. No they won't. There won't be any performance. They've fired all the musicians and pocketed the $25,000,000. Do we get it now?
  10. I just watched that on my own not two minutes ago. What a witch!
  11. Wow! I checked inventory before I agreed with the post. So that was less than an hour for depletion.
  12. Here's a clarification of why the $2.2 Trillion bill is really a $6 Trillion bill overall, thanks to fractional reserve banking. And if you didn't read that last article I posted, let's see the chart that describes where the $2.2 Trillion is going. BTW, notice the $131 Billion 'Other'? 45% of the direct payments.
  13. You know, when giving everyone a $15/hour minimum wage was all the rage, many asked 'Why stop there? If $15/hour is OK, why not make it $50? Won't everyone be better off?" OK. So if $2 Trillion in additional debt is OK ( really $2 Trillion plus $4.5 Trillion ), why not just make it $350 Trillion? That way everyone in the country gets $1,000,000 and our worries will be over. My personal suggestion is just have all the banks add an "Adjust Account Balance" button to our online banking interfaces. Then we can just punch up whatever we'd like our balance to be. Where would that money come from? Who cares?
  14. Forbes has a description of the bill workings. Assuming it's correct: "The payment technically is a tax credit advanced to your 2020 taxes that you’ll report on the return you file in 2021. The money will go to most households based on their 2019 tax return. For those who have not yet filed a 2019 return, their payment would be based on their 2018 return. If you are a retiree who didn’t file a return for either year, the IRS would use your Social Security benefit statement to determine eligibility. " So if I understand this explanation correctly, we get $xxxx now in a check. It's reported as income for 2020. But we take a $xxxx tax credit on that return. The other story I read (that I can't find) simply said it wasn't going to count as taxable income.
  15. OK. My understanding is this will not be considered taxable income.
  16. Not all of it. All the national debt dollars represent money loaned to the government by 'investors'. Of course the taxpayers are supposedly on the hook to pay it all back! But will we? This entire bill is going to blowing this year's deficit through the roof and beyond an orbit. And along with the Federal Reserve creating money with keystrokes on their computers we'll be damn lucky if the U.S. dollar doesn't crash at the end of all this. Although I agree with your sentiment. So it looks like we'll get $2,400 of our money back before we send it in in July. Whoopee! You're free to write a check to the U.S. Treasury any time you want. That's what I tell wealthy people when they tell me they should be paying more for their fair share. "How much did you voluntarily send in this year?"
  17. I'm not sure what this Java error indicates, but the Contact page on the website is still working as of 3:15 PM Friday. My test is based on a Windows 10 PC with either the Chrome, Internet Explorer or Edge browsers. I have not seen the website fail. If you're on a different OS or browser (or mobile?) that doesn't support Java that might be the cause. Although I'm not positive.
  18. You can also post to his Facebook page. I don't use Facebook, but a lot do.
  19. Well done KC! That's true. That doesn't mean we shouldn't hold him up to public scrutiny. He does care about politics.
  20. And I'm still waiting for the Puke emoji. Needed for some of the latest.
  21. I cannot preview this story without blowing the punch line. So just read it. This has gone too far!
