I made a habit of buying whatever aim surplus and sarco has in stock. As long as it is 7.62x54r I cant complain... Yet..

Just came back from Sarco and I already have a list of what I am going back for. The staff were awesome and friendly people to deal with. Very nice selection of gun, rifles, and odd & ends. I left that store feeling really good about my purchases and future purchases.. Also please note they have a 5 boxes per caliber restriction right now (per visit).

South Amboy, NJ - Just dropped off my Pistol Permit. Will let you know how long it takes. My local detective was on vacation but its nice to have him back. Found a pistol I like.

I am still in shock that you need a permit for sling-shots.... SLING-SHOTS!!! We all had them when I was a kid.

I was just thinking about a recent case in New York about a drug overdose that happened but because they called for help they were not charged for the drugs. The only context I can apply is wrong is wrong...but doing right make its alright? Mind you.. I think he did the right thing no matter his status.. Nice to know some folks still have a shred of humanity to think of others first when it matters.

Ordered these 3 items from CMMG 1\1\13 when everything was in stock only to have a week pass with the updated backorder status for the barrel nut.. I asked them if they could take off the barrel nut so that I could get the other parts mostly the FSA but they said no because of all the orders they are currently processing..? Also saw a 22lr ar that was selling for 429 and a few mosin-nagants w/scope cheapest going for $509 average around $525. Also left empty handed... Beef Jerky in the same booth with the coin guy was good though.

Are there any rifle ranges in NJ that allow you to shoot 7.62x54r (Mosin-Nagants)? My only other option would be to make an hour+ trip to PA.a

Purchased a used H&R Ultra Slug from Chris today over at Bullseye Tactical. This is my second firearm purchased from him (First was a 1933 Mosin-Nagant). Friendly, Knowledgeable, and very helpful for someone like me being fairly new to owning firearms. I have shot a few riffles in the past but never owned one and the responsibilities that come with being a owner so its cool to ask questions without feeling stupid or anything. I would recommend anyone in the area stop in and check out his store. -- I love this Ultra Slug picked up from him. Great condition for a used firearm with a clear scope and ready to go.

Just bought a 1933 Mosin Nagant (Hex Receiver) in good condition from him this past weekend. Bit high in price for Mosin Nagants but considering how good the quality was I wasnt complaining. Has an H&R .20 Slug Hunter that I want but I have to be patient and see what happens.
