  2. Took the tour with Anthony last Monday. My buddy and I were so impressed we joined. With only being miles away, I can't wait to take advantage of a first class range.
  3. They had the federal 525 pack for 22.99 on Palmetto State . By the time I tried to pick some up it was sold out. That's the best price I have seen in a while
  4. PSA has XM193 5.56 in stock $12.99. Not the best price but they have it. Yesterday you had to buy 100 boxes. Today there is no maximum/minimum to buy. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/federal-xm193f-brown-box-5-56mm-55gr-fmj.html
  5. My decision is made up. They are out of stock so I'm not going to get one. LOL
  6. Everyone else thanks for the info. I am still contemplating making the purchase
  7. Keep me in mind if your going to sell it
  8. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with them. They are in stock at PSA. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ati-tactical-22lr-ar-15-upper-atim42228t.html
  9. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/featured/psa-16-mid-premium-pro-stripped-upper-without-bcg-or-charging-handle.html Isn't this optic like $400
  10. I use the L'Occatine, it works very well for me and is about $10 for the cake. It also lasts at least 9 months shaving 3-4 times a week.
  11. I use my grandfather's badger hair brush, shaving soap and a Mach 3. Never get any razor burn using the brush.
  12. The only thing I can think of is people don't want to shoot their handgun or rifle ammo, but still want to go to the range and practice and or plink, so people are grabbing up as much .22lr as they can get their hands on. I haven't seen any but the #12 birdshot in stores.
  13. Nice pics. Waterfowl hunting is my favorite way to spend a nice winter morning. You don't have to be still and quiet like deer hunting, you can BS with your buddies in the blind.
  14. Picked up a Early 1980's WingMaster from L&H in Brick a couple of years ago for $180.00. The condition that it was in is similar to what you mentioned, and the wood was in great shape. The guy that worked there was trying to move inventory, I guess I lucked out.
  15. So I made the trip to the PSA store outside of Hilton Head Island. Drive wasn't that bad if it wasn't for the traffic lights I could probably made it there in 20 mins. It took me about 35 mins. The store was located in the back of a commercial business park. The store had a lot of parts for AR-15's, they had about 15 PSA AR-15 for sale, plenty of handguns (1911's, polymer, stainless, a few revolvers), 2 Springfield M1A's, a couple of other rifles and a decent selection of shotguns. They didn't have the three things I was looking for a .22 complete upper, classic lower build kit w/o FCG, and they chuckled when I asked if they had .22lr ammo. 45,40, 9mm, and .223/5.56 was restricted to 2 boxes per customer, they had a decent amount of shotgun ammo everything else looked pretty bare. I picked up two boxes of 45 acp and a few detent springs. They had a public range in the back of the store $5 for a 1/2 hr, which I couldn't believe. I am used to paying bullet hole prices, so I was impressed with their pricing for the range. Overall it was a good experience, I wished they had more ammo, but I guess the whole country is suffering the drought. I checked a few other sporting goods stores and the ammo shelves were bare. I got the last 5 boxes of 7.62x39 for $5.17 a box at Walmart, which was a good price. They were restricted to 3 boxes per customer but the guy that worked there said there was no point in keeping 2 boxes on the shelf. It was a nice gesture.
  16. Also, you have to bring your own bow for the actual portion of the test. They have rifles for your to shoot (black powder and .22)
  17. I don't think there will be a fee, only when you get your license. But you will need to complete the book, take the written and take the bow part of the test. When I took the test I only did shotgun and rifle, so if I wanted to bow hunt I would have to take what I mentioned up top. If your going to get the bow portion of your license get the rifle while your at it.
