  1. 3 words. "Add On Sale". When ever someone comes into your office to pick something up (like a Ruger SR1911), you should casually mention, "Hey, I've got these Anderson stripped lowers for $75...." I know you would have sold one last night! Just curious. If someone were picking something up (like a Ruger SR1911) and they said, "Heck yeah!! I'll take one of those sweet priced Anderson lowers!" Would it be a separate NCIS charge (for total of 2 charges) or just one charge for both?
  2. So advantages of billet is the ability to have the lower customized to how you want?
  3. I thougt guns were illegal in Mexico. They obviously need more laws.
  4. Got it out of SUV safely, used dolly to move it about 20 feet and then slip down into cellar on some wood. Used same wood to slide it to location in basement. All set. Not too difficult at all.
  5. Thanks for the offer Damjan. He'll be over in a little while. May just try your suggestion about the tarps!
  6. Try Steve @ Monmouth Arms. He had some for the M&P. If Core takes same mags as regular M&P he should be able to help you.
  7. Brother in-law coming over later to help me "get 'er done!". Main concern is just getting it out of the back of wife's vehicle without banging up the rear bumper. I have a dolly and brother in-law has some mover tie downs. Only have to go about 20 feet to storm doors/coal door of the basement and then carefully and slowly slide it down into the basement. Def going to look into fastening it to the floor. Prob pick up the dehumidifier rod as well. Should have picked one up when I bought the safe....duh!
  8. I was thinking of getting that exact one. For $200 more I figure I won't have to upgrade anytime soon....and wife hopes I NEVER need to upgrade.
  9. PIcked it up a few hours ago: http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/cannon-ts6026e-challenger-gun-safe-24-gun-capacity?cm_sp=fly_tools-_-event-_-price_cut_challenger Hopefully the door comes off (as I've read some safe doors do) so I can get it out of the wife's Buick Enclave tomorrow. If anyone if looking for a smaller safe, Tractor Supply in Flanders also has the Winchester Gun Safe (10 Gun) for $299: http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/winchesterreg%3B-gun-safe-10-gun-capacity So any accessories I should be looking at after I get it set up? It will be going in the basement. Basement is dry and has never had any water. It comes with a door organizer. Separately the organizer is almost $50. The reviewers rated the safe very favorable. All in all I think this is a good value for a first safe.
  10. You're prob aware they are built on the CZ 75 platform. Have heard good things about them. Mostly that they are very accurate. Congrats and enjoy!
  11. Are these friends of your's that recently found out that you enjoy shooting?

    GLOCK 19 or...

I was thinking about getting a striker fire to round out what I have. Now I'm waiting on this to come in. http://www.ruger.com/products/sr1911/models.html

Do you have a CZ75 yet? This conversation is irrelevant unless you do.
  14. Thanks. I did quite a bit of reading of reviews. Even though I didn't see this comp directly compared to others I was considering I felt pretty confident I would be happy with hit. And i am VERY happy with it.
  15. For my own reference (and anyone else who reads this that didn't know). How to zero in your AR with iron sights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Etnf76QTu_U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjaE015picw
  16. Check out the thread I started when I decided I wanted to purchase an AR: http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/64490-good-entry-level-off-the-shelf-buy/page-10#entry896636 I ended up building the lower and purchasing complete upper. If I can do it ANYONE can. Next build I'll prob build the upper as well. If you need a comp/brake check out Wheaton Arms. I'm pretty impressed with it. Good luck and if you have questions feel free to ask.
  17. LOL....I posted to wrong thread.Meant to respond to "1st Build.....Nees Some Help". Was posting on phone and was hanging so I copied & pasted it once phone refreshed to your "Need Help" thread. You try giving it a good "WHACK" on the side? Sorry but that's all the help I can provide..... Good luck.

  19. Just a quick update. Have put about 500 rounds through without any problems what so ever. Bulk of the 500 was during my second trip to range this past Monday. Very happy with the Wheaton Comp I put on it. Friend I was shooting with liked the comp as well and may use it on his next AR. We could feel/tell the difference between our two guns/comps. His had a little more felt recoil and pulled a little to the side. Can't recall which comp he has but will find out. For anyone doing a build/looking for a comp, look into Wheaton Arms. At end of last shooting session I was hitting a 12x8 piece of paper at 100 yards with just iron sights in a fairly nice pattern. For only having shot ARs a handful of times before I'm pretty impressed with my build so far.

  21. Ah....I think I get it. "Hi Power" is a generic name (like 1911) and (like 1911s) there are several different manufactors. Right?
  22. Don't know much about these guns but know they are held in high regard by many. Saw this link in another thread and wanted to share/discuss it. I have one permit left and am wondering if this is a good deal. Looks like there is a fair amount of holster wear on these. What is a ball park figure to have reblued (if that's the right term)? http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1FNHP&name=FN+Belgium+Hi+Power+9mm+Pistol&search=FN%C2%A0
  23. Just sell all your over 15 round mags and replace with max 15 rounders. Have any modifications to your AR and SKS done prior to moving here. It's bad here but you'll be fine. For the AR & SKS. As mentioned before, it is a Colt AR15 then you'll have to sell it and replace with something that doesn't say "Colt AR15". Have bayonet lug ground down, pin stock and remove flash hider/add compensator/brake. Moorestown is a nice area. Voted best (or one of the best) places to live a few years ago. I'm sure you'll enjoy it there. Welcome to NJ.
  24. Hello and welcome. You need to answer two questions. There are some threads on these subjects but well consolidate it here for you. Very important stuff here: 1. What do you consider the "line" for where North & South Jersey begin/end? 2. Taylor Ham or Pork Roll?
