  1. Why should the NJ Gestapo have a right to know how much ammo I have? Do like me, BUY IT WHOLESALE...have it shipped LTL freight to your door and get some decent reloading equipment. You will be set for many years to come. I have pallets in my garage and this year alone added another $10K to my stock, I enjoy targeting shooting and can't imagine not being able to shoot some of the older rifles in odd calibers I have or having to submit myself to Nazi control from the elite in Trenton. It's worth buying up whatever you can afford and I know of many who have also been stacking it to the moon since this crap started.
  2. I know of a few people who had the local PD misplace apps, finger prints/MORPHOTRAK slips, etc. and it seems like a bunch of BS, HOW THE **** CAN A POLICE STATION MISPLACE THE FIREARMS APP PAPAERWORK!?!?!? NJ gun laws suck big time, I have 2 SAR-1's (AK's) and with the current backlog both FFL's are saying 3-4 week wait...Hell I purchased a Winchester 22 model 69 back on the 24th of April....It's May 14th and I'm still waiting for my approval...
  3. They allowed really shady advertisements in the 80's, 90's... Supressor "rebuild kits", "80%" lightning links, Templates to drill sear hole on AR/AK rifles, G.I. sears, HK full auto trigger packs, Live grenade fuzes (for M18 smoke grenades, likely for building HE grenades), etc., But hey, the BATF says you can't play until you pay $$$....and no NFA items are legal in NJ except for Machine Guns but good luck getting a NJ license to buy/own the pre-86 ones.
  4. Ah, .500 S&W zip guns was so 2012..I guess the Camden crackheads have upgraded... See? Now they use .50 Cal and up to take out the rival crack house down the street...Very effective or so I hear...
  5. Terrorist Watch List - That's funny since the BATF has said Shotgun News is a clandestine paper, "a BATF agent swore that "clandestine" publications like Shotgun News had been observed in the Branch Davidian home." Since I subscribe to said publication I should expect a no-knock warrant executed on my home and having my name added to some Govt. database. Embedded Firearms ID - I wonder how much they are going to charge us for these new embedded firearms ID cards and why bother encoding our DL's with our FID info? Why not abolish the FID requirement and simply perform a NICS check just like other states do when purchasing a firearm from a FFL?. 50 Cal Ban - 50 BMG rifles...How many gang bangers in Trenton, Camden, Atlantic City, etc.. can afford to purchase a 50 BMG and the ammo for it? How many times have you heard about a 50 BMG being used in a major crime? Is this some new threat, drive-by 50 BMG shootings?
  6. Don't worry, the State will raise our taxes so they can afford to hire more Troopers to handle this.
  7. I was planning on doing the same thing, only using a PA address and get a PA DL. No more FPID crap and no permit to purchase a handgun. Oh, and insurance is cheaper in PA.
  8. I think it was in Germany, the Govt. was deactivating HK G3 rifles and the receivers were left fully intact! The only thing they did was grind the bolt down and drill holes in the barrel/plug it with a steel rod and weld the rod. Full Auto AK's? Hey!, wait...can you......never mind!
  9. Somers Point Police Department took approx. 3 months for a FPID to purchase rifles/shotguns, every time I called I was told the person was out of office and had a hard time getting a call back. I sent Evan Nappen an email about this and wanted to enlist his services, the next day (7:00 AM) the Somers Point Police Department called and the Detective in charge of the FPID's said "I do return telephone calls" and had the "go f***k yourself" attitude. Oh, and Somers Point has a seperate application I had to fill out asking me to list everyone who lives in my home, age/birth dates of the persons living here, etc. it was aroubd 3 pages and REALLY pissed me off since that is in direct violation of State Law.
  10. I hope they find a way to turn off the CCW permits carried by our State officials, since those folks in the State senate could be a threat.
  11. I'm sure they hold 99.99% of the CCW permits issued in this Republic. Sure they have a justifiable need...me and you also have a justifiable need but the NJ Gestapo doesn't care about us non-connected folks, I value my life and today just dosen't seem to be a good day to be stabbed to death by some crack head or junkie. The same IDIOTS that voted these people in need to be deprogrammed at any cost, they should also prevent them from reproducing until the anti-gun gene is non-existent.
  12. Pounding Christie? No, he is already pounding down another sub payed for with our tax dollars. He hasn't made a single attempt to stall these bills, he doesn't care it's plain and simple.
  13. Wait!, so buying a firearm/ammunition will be like...well...you know? What next, have a special room for pressure cookers???
  14. Confiscation... This is why I DESPISE those in Trenton who live in a tax-payer funded bubble. I wonder if these POS in the Senate own guns? OH! that's right, they probably have close personal protection from the NJSP that's payed for with our taxes.
  15. Hmmm, I didn't know that. I do know that in many countries the barrel and or bolt are actually considered the firearm, funny since in some of these countries you can buy a Colt M16 lower without any paperwork but the barrel and or bolt requires paperwork.
  16. Like Hair Trigger said, it should be fine. I have many Antique firearms that I shoot on a regular basis. 1891 Argentine Mauser, Finnish Mosin that's from 1897, a few Iver Johnson 32 S&W black powder revolers, etc. and they all go bang just like they should (and accuratley, too). I have a old 10/22 that's pretty beat and got one of these: https://ruger1022receiver.3dcartstores.com/R25P-Bolt-Buffer_p_8.html That bolt buffer was defiently worth the $4 I paid for it, also installed a new bolt w/ extended charging handle and a few other misc things. The older 10/22 rifles are (IMO) far better compared to the ones Ruger is producing today, I own a newer one and I'm planning on getting another older original 10/22 to replace it as I dislike the poly/plastic and cheap feel it has.
  17. R & R Gunsmiths - 35 W Groveland Ave, Somers Point, NJ Nice shop with a knowlegible owner, never had them work on any of my firearms but I hear very good things about his work. I've been using him for FFL transfers as it's right down the road from me and reasonably priced.
  18. You would need to find a licensed importer, per the BATFE: Alternatively, you can have a Type 01 FFL (IE Gunsmith, Pawnshop, etc.) import it: Importing them isn't a problem, it's finding a Type 01, Type 02, Type 07, Type 8 or Type 11 that is willing to do this for you. I've been looking at doing the same thing with .303 Enfield rifles but need to find a BATFE licenscee willing to do this...
