Don't know why people complain about snappiness. I happen to appreciate the recoil I get, given the price of ammo these days. The more recoil & louder bang, the better.

I hate my Glock. The trigger is horrible. It's top heavy. I hate the feel of plastic. It feels like a toy. I'm going back to the 1911s.

When I say "sissy" that refers equally to both women & men. Listen, sometimes manufacturers can go overboard & make things too small or thin. Take the E2 grip. I happen to have big hands & gripping something the size of a straw doesn't work for me. When you have a good grip on a beefy grip, you won't question yourself if you are holding & pointing it right in the dark. Okay okay sure it's good for persons who have small hands, I grant you that.

45 has the knock down power to bring those plates down. Aren't we supposed to make things better, not worst?

You don't really have to bid on most of them. A lot of dealers and sellers post their items up for advertising. If you provide a direct phone # or web site, just call them up & tell them you want that item. They will take your CC & end the auction. Simple. Try to get free shipping into the deal if you can cause you'll be paying FFL costs. ask about CC as payment. Why buy a custom 1911 unless you have $$$ coming out of your ears? Most of that stuff is overpriced anyway as showpieces. If you want to spend that kind of $$$ why don't you get a competition pistol?

A lot of chicks & senior citizens have 9mm 1911s. They probably all love it.
