  1. I haven't looked much into this so forgive me if this is common knowledge but do the places that offer classes for the out of state CCW permits do everything for you.? So you basically show up take the class and in turn you get your permits?
  2. Because this is 9mm it will most likely use moon clips right?
  3. whats a good price per round for HD or SD 9mm ammo? I see HST, Gold dots, Critical duty/defense anywhere from $.56 to $1.00+ on gunbot. I usually like to compare gunbot prices to LGS prices but i haven't been to a LGS to check prices in a while. is this decent? $.54 for Critical Duty? Same price for standard and +P also http://www.sgammo.com/product/hornady/500-round-case-9mm-p-hornady-critical-duty-le-135-grain-ammo-90225
  4. Yea, i may just pick up a rest or sandbags. Any advantage a shooting rest has over bags? The bags seem like they would be easier to store/transport and if they both get the job done just as easily i'll pick up the bags. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013RD4FC/ref=cm_cr_asin_lnk http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GXJJ84/ref=s9_simh_gw_p200_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=19Q639E9VM64N4S51MJK&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1630083502&pf_rd_i=507846
  5. I picked up a pre-owned Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 Rimfire scope for my takedown, and i bought a new set of high scope rings for it and got it mounted up. Ive been watching youtube videos and reading articles about sighting in a scope but being this is my first time, but i cant get past one thing.. Do ranges usually have shooting rests/sand bags available to use or is that something i should buy and bring myself?
  6. My fiancé has one. It likes CCI Mini-mags and also the CCI AR tactical bulk. The trigger is a bit heavy but I make her practice with snap caps in front of the TV. We have about 150 rounds or so through hers.. Not giving up on it yet. But we definitely need to stock up on more mini mags
  7. Ok. The shroud cap is removable. so you can pin the cap to the threaded adapter, slide the shroud body over the barrel, secure the adapter to the barrel and then screw the shroud body into the cap. adapter is pinned, shroud is pinned, you're NJ safe and G2G I'm gonna order mine today. even though my Fiance wont let me shoot my M&P 15-22 until Christmas...
  8. I'm stuck on the pinning part. If the shroud has to be pinned to the threaded adapter, it looks like the only way to do it would be a permanent solution (JB weld or tack welding the shroud to the adapter). Which how i see it would make the adapter now next to impossible to remove or attach to the barrel. I'm not even sure the shroud has to be pinned.. Technically the threaded adapter will be "pinned" via the set screw. I emailed Kineti-Tech for some more insight and he said he regularly ships to NJ. So theres people out there with these.. I'm curious to know their solutions....
  9. yea, it looks that way. the threaded adapter for non threaded barrels attaches via a set screw, but the shroud still screws on. So on order for this to be legal the shroud now has to be pinned as well? how would you pin it?
  10. Would adding a barrel shroud to a MP 15-22 make the rifle illegal in NJ? In particularly i'm looking at these http://www.kineti-tech.com/barrel-shrouds-2/
  11. anyone order from this site before? https://delta3outfitters.com/store/products/MAG-S%26W-M%26P15%252d22-22LR-10RD-BLK-SHORT.html
  12. Has anyone been able to locate the 10round shorts?
  13. i dragged my fiance out of bed and went to the freehold store. Scored 2 boxes of the golden bullets. They looked to only have about a dozen or so left. anyway i hope they work well in my Mosquito. They are similarly spec'd to the Mini-Mags
  14. Nice score. I just called the Freehold and New Brunswick locations and they still have some in stock. I'm thinking about taking a trip. May pickup a .22 lever action while im there as well...
  15. They let you buy 3? They wont let me buy more then one sleeve of 100 Mini-Mags when they have them.
  16. had it in the cart then it went out of stock
  17. Is there any danger involved in shooting a magazine full of mixed loads?
  18. The single 10 rounder was a bummer at the range. I just picked up some spare mags for $14 each. 5 should be good enough for right now. I'm going to order some Kidd goodies also
  19. What ammo do you guys run in your 10/22? Just got back from GFH and Tried 50 Rounds each of CCI AR Tactical, Federal Auto Match, and Federal Gold Medal Target. Had numerous FTE and FTF with the Federal Gold Medal, but the bulk ammo was fine..
  20. I wound up driving to Gander Mountain and picking it up yesterday. When i called to check availability the girl on the phone told me it was $349.99, but when i got there they had one left and it was marked down to $329! Actually about to head out to the range now to test it out.
  21. Thanks! I'll try Ottomanelli's tomorrow. Can NICS be done on sundays?
  22. Did you find anywhere else that had the Takedown model in stock? Ive ben waiting on a FFL transfer for over a week now for a handgun and I'm itching to buy something this weekend...
  23. Is "pinning" the mag to 15 rounds something I can do myself if i bought them out of state?
