Opap has really desirable military surplus wood furniture, and an rpk style trinion ( thicker receiver ). Word is the surplus kits have dried up is why there are no more being imported. The n pap has a thinner receiver and cheap tiki wood. Still a good rifle from what iv seen.

I figured i would at least post it for anyone dead set on one. I know I was for a few months. But at that price point and no chrome lined barrel I don't think its worth it.

Atlantic has a few opap m70 in stock. Predictably the prices have gone up. Its only 100 less then the saiga BAK 762 I just got from them. I got my Krebs safety last week. Def worth it. So easy to minipulate . also hit midwestpx and grab a 15/30 pmag. I love mine.

Bp-02 AK mount and the vortex StrikeFire. I don't have the 2x magnifier screwed in but its about I'd say 3 incs added tkbthe rear. Nothing crazy. I adjusted the lever on the mount and its pretty tight now. I can cowitness with the sight set to 300meters.

I got it all today. The StrikeFire comes with an x2 magnifier. It screws on to the end of the RDS. It fits fine.

I'm thinking of going to efga this weekend. I see the range is closed sat for matinance . how busy are they first thing (10am) on Sundays usually? I'm going to be bringing novice shooters as guests and I'm trying to keep the stress level down for them if possible.

New pmag came today . also installed my Krebs custom safty selector.

Got my mags. Love it. Fits great. Much better then my 10rnd tapco mags. My dad loves his 15/20 at mag as well. Will def be ordering more soon!

Thanks guys for your advice. I decided to be safe and I ordered a hoppes 308 bore snake, hopped 308 cleaning kit with aluminum rod, and some other odds and ends ( rem oil and CLP) I have everything else already.

Just an update. My dad is awesome and ordered the vortex StrikeFire RDS with the 2x magnifier for me for my birthday next month. And I have a bp-02 mount from kalinka coming as well.
