Ok. Just seems things get complicated for no reason with AK type rifles. AK frame or AR lower are both the receiver and both serial numbered and both treated as firearms. Huh? AK Receivers are the same as AR Lowers. Why would you compare them to uppers? The answer is have the barreled receiver transferred to FFL and have them filed off bayonet lug and pin and weld the brake. Since it is a barreled receiver it must be transferred through a FFL in every state. Otherwise buy a parts kit without a receiver and have it shipped to you directly. Regional A is like Long Medium Priority. Regional B is like square Medium Priority. Both are slightly smaller. You pay based on how many regions away you are shipping and based on one of 3 weight classes. Under 2lbs, 2-4lbs, over 4lbs. Under 2lbs East Coast is the cheapest for us. There are also APO boxes which are slightly larger flat rate but they are only for shipping to military bases. Same price any base no matter where in the world it is. Ok so maybe my biggest issue first. A rear camera that beeps so I stop backing into things. Cost me $250 to buy my friend a new door that I totaled. Totaled my wife's brother's car. Both Hyundai Tin Cans. Hit my mother's car twice no damage because it is American Made Steel. People park in my K Turn area and I whip out and boom.
