I couldn't get the cam setup reliably. I got a couple images of a guy in a hoodie running onto my lawn towards the sign, seeing my mods (see pic) and running out of frame. It was at night and pretty blurry. I initially set it up in photo mode so the IR flash wasn't on too long. After that, I tried to set it up for video, but as a Brit would say "No joy mate." However, my "modified" sign was pretty reliable. haha

Was looking at a $90 one at Dicks, my front yard is only like 30' wide by 20' deep. Don't know if it's overkill or what. Have a big bow window out front so the cam will be front and center. Yeah, sounds like you need some beter materials. I can give you links to what Ive been using when I get back to work on Monday. The vinyl,I use sticks fine, been on cars for 5+ years, 200k+ miles. Also, dont use amonia based glass cleaners on glass first.

What glass? I had issues with the interior surface on cars only, acted like colorforms. I forget what the issue was but a sign guy said it can be a problem. No issues exterior or door glass, etc. Im using a new plastic type transfer tape, its more like a plastic film instead of masking tape.

I've had my cutter for a bunch of years, back when they first started becoming affordable. I only have a 14" but you'd be amazed at what you can do with it. I mainly use it to letter my commercial cars but have done a ton of decals for moto and BMX stuff. I buy 24" vinyl from US cutter and cut it in half on a miter saw to save a few bucks.

That was the idea. My hand guard only has keymod slots on 3,6 and 9:00 surfaces so I'm looking for something wide to cover in between. Looking at some alternatives now.

I'm pretty much stuck on a set of LWRC Railskins but I'm running a keymod handguard. The LWRC units, from what I found online, are 6.25" long. However I can only find (budget) picatinny adapters in 2, 3 & 5" lengths. I have a set of BCM panels that I am not a fan of. Looking for something wider like the Railskins.

Howell and GSSC both have stripped lowers.

I sent an email to them and had a shipment sent to my office. FID matched the cc billing address(home) though. Keep in mind, wherever you buy online from, that the farther they are from NJ the longer it will take to arrive. Ammo ships ground. Takes almost 2 weeks for an order from Freedom Munitions.

It depends on the town. My town wanted to physically meet with one of my references and wouldn't accept one from TX.

Using the same references on future permits is fine too. I have undated spares already printed out. I just give a heads up to my references when I submit one.
