  1. I don’t think they will until they’re forced to by courts.
  2. If this is on another thread or should be, sorry but it's the first case I've seen and found it quite by accident. I wish them good luck. At the very least it may get a stay on the mag. thing. https://bearingarms.com/tom-k/2018/06/15/group-sues-nj-new-gun-control-laws-ink-dry/
  3. Because you’re looking at it from a point of reason. These people are ignorant to the real facts and bitch and vote from emotion and not facts. The politicians do what they need to do for the populist vote. The populist voters think they can make 400 million guns just disappear with these idiotic laws. We need more education and less fear. But that’ll never happen.
  4. If you do decide to get @Zeke to build you a dark room I have a great enlarger and other paraphernalia from back in the day I’d love to find a good home for.
  5. Almost 1/2 a million dollars and the roads are still falling apart. But out of this I bill I take two things at least. No where does it include the correlation between gun control laws and gun violence. And reading para 2 it appears to be focusing on mental health issues among gun owners. A noble area to research no doubt but, I can't help feeling that the focus with this and other recently passed bills, "they" are increasingly trying to prove that gun ownership is a result of a mental illness, condition or syndrome. Paranoid? Of course. Who among us at this point isn't. But picture this: an out come like my paranoid prediction can produce could lead to not only limiting ownership of gun types but limits on quantities of guns one may possess. Maybe more. Thoughts? (other than on my paranoia) http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2018/Bills/S0500/63_I1.HTM Bad politicians are elected by good people that don't vote.
  6. I clean them after every 2nd or 3rd shoot. I shower once a month whether I need it or not.
  7. Yup. It appears the quote Posted was a quote from slickskin. Since I lifted it from your post it carried your name. What can I say? I'm an analog guy stuck in a digital world and fucked up. Sorry.
  8. I'm sorry if the above quote about agreeing "that the average Joe shouldn't need...etc". I don't understand how the quote has @this_is_nascar on it. But if It wasn't you I truly apologize. Who ever the quote was from, I was just trying to point out that the type of gun shouldn't be relevant when trying to lift or fight against restrictions or 2A rights. But that was my point and the other quote was not yours, so again Sorry about that.
  9. If memory serves me correctly I believe these idiots tried this once before. Does anyone else remember that?
  10. You can't. If you make it illegal to steal then the politicians would become instant criminals. oh....wait....again....
  11. I think instead of worrying if they suspect if you have a 15 rounder hidden in the bottom of your sock and underwear drawer we should worry about the other bills like the extreme risk protection order act of 2018. The one where your crazy ex-girlfriend can file petition to have your guns and gun rights removed without due process.
  12. I know. Really, what is this the fucking twilight zone? Everybody relax. We've got until Oct for an injunction.
  13. He's either laughing at the fact that you might actually turn them in or at the question of if you'll be reimbursed. Too close to call.
  14. It's supposed to be a "health care professional". I work in the health care industry and have for about 18yrs now so I could argue that definition all day. That aside, does this mean if I piss off a nurse at work by taking the good parking spot or throwing out the milk smelling up the refrigerator something that that person can turn me in and it will be followed up on?
  15. Maybe not. I can see the annal openings that voted him in voting him in for Senator. Senator is closer to the Oval Office.
  16. He and his buck toothed boss are laying the ground work to stop internet sales for parts and ammo. It's all scare tactics.
  17. He's raising rhetoric. Scaring the ignorant masses. If successful, everybody will be running around thinking we all have ghost guns. We keep them on a shelf right next to the bump stocks they think we all have that we bought at a gun show through the gun show loop hole.
  18. He obviously is pandering to a target voting audience. Millennials, minorities, gays and trans, aliens. Most likely??? Definitely is. Of course it is. I ask, how can he legally block advertising for a product that is legal to purchase and own? He’s infringing in free enterprise. What’s next? Hogue grips?
  19. It's smoke and mirrors. They're going after what's already illegal to give the appearance they're doing something. They're generating fears where there aren't any. It gives the appearance that we're all going out and making these ghost guns, when in reality bad guys will still be able to make them. It's the same old story.
  20. None. They’re going after the manufacturers for advertising to us to buy ghost guns. Haven’t you seen those billboards on the highways or heard the radio ads? Legalize pot and go after make believe advertising. It’s how we fix the roads and the budget.
  21. So......ghost guns are already illegal here. They pass all kinds of gun laws that infringe on us to stop bad guys, and they can’t. So they’re going to blame someone else and sue them with our tax dollars. Yeah, makes sense.
  22. Is this informational only or can the Chief stop this at his desk?
