  1. I know this is nothing new, but finally a cool gun that we can get in NJ no questions asked. Bolt Action "pistol" chambered in 300blk. Hefty price of $2500 but I would consider ordering, anyone else?
  2. the biggest liability you're leaving yourself open to is say you're driving to/from the range and you get in an accident. The accident's bad enough where you can't drive your car, you're going to take your guns out as you wait for your ride home. Now they're out in the open of course they're gonna check them out. Otherwise if you get pulled over, what's in your trunk is your right to privacy.
  3. I have the Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4 with the illuminated SPR reticle you listed, it's a very good scope for the money. If not having a true 1x power doesn't bother you then you'll like it. Mine's just sitting in a box right now, if I decide I want to get rid of it I'll let you know
  4. I had the VX6-HD 4-12 briefly over the summer, glass was super clear but I absolutely hated the firedot duplex reticle that came on it. Maybe if I had the B&C reticle I'd be saying otherwise
  5. I also have been expirmenting more with 1-8’s. On my 308 I run a Trijicon Accupower 1-8 which is perfect for that gun, my Noveske currently runs a MRO, my LWRC runs a NX8 but I was running a LCO for some time. I’m gonna build another Noveske in the near future and put the LCO on that. I have my SOT so that will be an SBR.
  6. for the guns I run a red dot on, I run a MRO and a LCO....worth every penny.
  7. sell one of your 7 Syria Door Kicking grade shotguns for a Syria Door Kicking grade red dot.
  8. no but I still want to punch paper with an optic that works
  9. I personally don't like EOTech, but they're good. If you believe a Vortex Sparc AR or PA Red Dot is as good as Aimpoint, MRO, LCO...I got a bridge to sell you. If you're gonna tell me a vortex or PA scope is "just as good" as a Nightforce or Accupoint/Accupower, then I know you're talkin out of your ass
  10. LWRC DI is nice, but it's heavy for a DI rifle. Go with Noveske or KAC.
  11. -Nightforce -Trijicon -Leupold -Aimpoint -EOTech everything else doesn't come close, don't be poor.
  12. SureFire, SiCo, DeadAir, Griffin...there’s a lot of muzzle brakes/direct mounts
  13. Funny thing is, “barrel threading to accept a suppressor” is an evil feature, but there are so many muzzle brakes that are made for quick connect for suppressors and don’t have threads at all. So if you got a buddy out of state with a compatible suppressor, go there and have fun.
  14. Just because he didn’t win a case doesn’t make him a bad guy or greedy. The cards have been against the 2A crowd in Jersey for far too long. If there was a better lawyer to represent the ANJRPC in this case, they would have hired them. I wouldn’t make him the scapegoat, I also bet he’s got a magnifying glass on him right now by big brother, he can’t just tell you to not comply
  15. This is the attitude people need to have. xXxplosive stop sounding like a fudd.
  16. More like they’ll tease the 5 round law to make it seem like we should be happy with 10. Fuck them.
  17. All of you right now that seriously believe this is going to happen and your paranoia of the use of social media. Combing social media and going door to door looking for magazine greater than 10 rounds is as much of a priority for law enforcement as finding your lost wallet. Go out in public, wave your piece around on main st with a magazine greater than 10 rounds, then you’ll get that charge added to your list of crimes committed that go with carrying a gun in public. I mean it’s so easy to get your CCW here, right?
  18. HexMag won't sell you the spring and anchor to convert to other capacities, I think you can buy the parts from Brownells but honestly, if you don't have the parts....you can't convert it. HexMags have been sold in New Jersey for years by multiple FFL's, plenty only sell just hexmags because they don't want to put in the time or pay someone the labor of pinning magazines for them. Using your logic 10/30 P-Mags aren't compliant either because with enough force you can get the floor plates off and remove the block inside. Just save yourself the time and don't buy HexMag, they break easily. I had 2 HexMags where the locking tab broke after one range trip. Mags are a perishable item but they shouldn't break that easily. I know 10/30 P-Mags are expensive locally, but you can buy them and a lot of other 10/30 options from GunMag Warehouse....but I recommend using some privacy secure payment method other than using your CC on their site like privacy.com ....I used my CC on their website, 2 days later I got a notification from my CC company that my card had been compromised, use privacy.com and you're good to go. They have a hell of a lot more 10 round options than any other website and for cheaper.
  19. let me reiterate, if they don't take my friendly goodbye to heart and they stick around snooping my property, they'll find out.
  20. A friendly visit would result in a friendly good bye if there’s no warrant.
  21. Just in, get rid of all power and hand tools if you don’t want to be hit for constructive intent /s
  22. Stop being stupid. If they weren’t compliant, stores wouldn’t be selling Hexmags for the past decade here.
