I see your point, but I also bought about 12 handguns since then and have never been asked for a Mental Health Check. They seem pretty gun friendly here. I put in a call to my local PD to ask if they needed anything else and never got a return call. Go figure. What are they gonna do, wait for 60 days and then tell me they need the Sp66.

Pretty sure had to fill one out for my initial FID so I don’t think I’m required again. They already would’ve checked with NY.

I'm living here for 8 years now. I got my FID card 8 years ago and probably had to have an SP66 mental health check then. Since I already had one done 8 years ago did I have to submit another one for the 2 years I lived in NY for my CCW? The previous one should be on file. I bought numerous handguns since and never needed one.

Eventually, I love it! They've been great in the past with P2P. 14 days. Filed my CCW 4 days before I received my recent P2P's. You'd think the background check would be redundant. 4 weeks so far.

It’s all over the place. I applied for my CCW 3 days after getting approval for my p2ps and it’s 3 1/2 weeks later. You’d think that it would be redundant. Who knows? There’s no standard.

Yeah but according to this, bars, restaurants, stadiums, in your car, etc are off limits. It basically throws Bumb's decision out. This is the latest update I could find. Might as well leave it home.

There is a point to this. Many years ago when I was in my 20's, my girlfriend and I were leaving a party on the upper west side of Manhattan and some asshole was following us a little too close and for a little too long. I turned around and said you better have a gun cause if you don't Im gonna kick your ass. He turned away. Thank god he didn't have a gun. Young and stupid.

I would say "Do you feel lucky punk? Go ahead make my day" No, seriously, in NJ you almost have to get shot at first to shoot someone. Just walk away and if followed, just prepare yourself to draw if needed.

LOL. Found it after an exhausting search. Why in hell would you be looking there? You would think that if they were so against it, it would be in a very conspicuous place and also posted at the entrance.

Not to start an argument, but where the hell is it on their website? I was just on there and couldn't find it. Granted I do need reading glasses, but where the hell is it? What am I supposed to do, check every website of every place I want to go? It's ridiculous.
