  1. Are there any restrictions in New Jersey on ordering ammunition from a Web site? Thanks GS
  2. Hey guys, As I delve further into the world of firearms, I am coming across a wider variety of ammunition. Had a few questions regarding corrosive ammunition: How do I identify what ammo is corrosive? Any particular brands or is it mostly surplus ammo? Is there such a thing as corrosive handgun ammunition? Is there any special way to clean a firearm after shooting corrosive ammo? Thanks!
  3. Not sure if this already on here somewhere..find ammo prices compare Plug in caliber etc. http://www.ammoengine.com/ and http://ammoseek.com/

Sell as an entire lot for $70.00 picked up at RTSP
  5. Less than a month and they are selling ammo(sweet) they are about $1-$2 more than online but it beats waiting for the shipment. They don't have much to choose from but it will suffice your needs, if your not picky. They also have about 50 shotguns/rifles, but nothing too special, more for hunting than anything else.
  6. Dicks in Freehold would not sell me .223 ammo tonight without my FID card. As matter of fact, I could not purchase any other ammo except 10, 12 or 20 gauge shotgun shells. Reasoning? Well a constitutionally illegal one as far as I'm concerned, but Dicks reason is New Jersey's ban on the sale of hand gun ammunition to anyone without an FID card. How am I supposed to enjoy my 2nd amendment right if I can't purchase the ammo necessary to exercise that right? Just go get my FID right? Yeah, I'm sure there's a few out there that are going to say that. Let's just forget about that train (ing) of your thoughts for the moment. Through (what a sad joke) exemptions a person can transport their guns to and fro from their home to their place of business, or gun range, or hunting grounds. Well how the $%^& are you suposed to shoot targets without ammo when you get there? Maybe that person is suposed to pretend that there is ammo being shot and make those sounds kids used to make on the playground. (I digress, today those kids would be subjected to, arrest, counseling, expulsion, put on pills and turned into a zombie by the school system). I can just see it now at Range 14, some jerk wad making those sounds and recoiling as if a real round was being shot. Again, how is a person suposed to exercise their 2nd amendment right without ammunition? Your not. Clearly the Constitution has been trampled, and I fear...truly, truly fear that it's too late for a return to true freedom. Here is what the "New" freedom is. We are free to: Think we're free. Be interrorgated prior to practicing our unalienable rights. Pay for that interrogation. Receive a right as indicated by an "ID" card. Pay for a different ID (hand gun) to enjoy that right. And each additional one. Pay for a NICS check, today, and again tommorrow if you decide to get that other gun you wanted. Buy ammo, with an FID card, then have your purchase logged into a record book. Ad nauseam As I wrote this, the thought crossed my mind that the proposed new ammunition law, A588, is really going to be a cash grab under the guise of protecting the police. I fathom to believe that the law is going to be like an announced toll increase. Like when the turnpike/parkway commission announces a toll hike of 100%, people **** and moan, the commission then says oh, ok just a 50% increase, the people go whew, the commission guys high five, laugh their arses off and go to Myrtle Beach for a round or two of golf. Well gotta go get ready for the range tommorrow. Pachew, pachew, pachew, zing, zing, pop, pop, pop, pop. Criminals always find a way......
  7. I had problems buying handgun ammo from Midway in the past, but sending a scan of my FID was all it took to get it corrected. However, today I got this message when purchasing: We're sorry, but City or State law prohibits us from sending item(s) in your cart to the address you have specified. As of April 1, 2008, New Jersey statutes will not allow sales of handgun ammunition to New Jersey. Does anyone know what statute this is referencing? I hadn't heard anything about this before.
  8. Link 1¢ shipping with a clothing item and coupon code "32PENNY" 115 and 147 grain at $10.99 125 grain at $11.99 Dunno if the other calibers are decent deals because I don't know what they regularly go for.
  9. Not a bad deal for 5k rounds. Even better deal if you have a club, it you can get your club to purchase it for you (65.00) for clubs. http://www.thecmp.org/Sales/ammo.htm
