Firearms aboard Trains

Never really thought about it as I've always traveled by air. Congress voted to withold federal funds from Amtrak if they don't make provisions for passengers to travel with a gun. The system will be similar to the process used on airlines. Thanks for doing the right thing Congress !

The Senate voted on Wednesday to allow Amtrak passengers to carry unloaded and locked handguns in checked baggage, even though Amtrak officials had raised concerns that the proposal could present
