bates rod and gun n haledon

anyone know what happened to bates? went to stop over there when i was close and hes closed down. stores empty and for rent signs are on the window. anyone know anything about this?

I am very good friends with the original owner.

He sold it about 2 years ago, but the guy basically ran it into the ground.

 

Would not restock items that sold etc. Basically, locked himself into a huge monthly nut with the rent and did not put any money back into the business.

It had been dying a slow death for about 2 yrs until it finally closed few months back.

Probably would have closed sooner but the owner had personally guaranteed the lease.

yup that sucks. i havnt been in there for about 2 years but its still pretty close. o well.
