djg0770 481 Posted November 17, 2011 I will be on the Cape for turkey day and am considering doing some upland bird hunting (read pheasant). Does anyone know where they typically release birds? This WMA is pretty darn large at 14,000 acres.
BlackOps Badger 52 Posted November 17, 2011 Put these coordinates into Google maps: +39° 16' 11.84", -74° 43' 17.61" I believe the fields that you see there are the ones they stock. However, if it's anything like it used to be out there it gets really crowded out there sometimes and you will get pelted with BB's. On the other hand there is a shotgun range for trap and skeet out there. At least it might still be there. I haven't been out there in years.

I usually go mid-morning to afternoon just to avoid such situations.
