Can someone point me to a link to the p2p form I need to sell a pistol. All I can find is the certificate of eligibility and seems to be for long guns only

P2P form the buyer will receive from his police department.

 

The buyer needs to have a P2P to purchase a handgun in NJ; not the seller.

Ahhh, grasshopper - the P2P needs to be applied for and you must jump through many, many hoops.

 

Forms:

STS-033

SP-066

SP-212A (providing you have been fingerprinted previously)

 

First two available on line @ NJSP.org and the SP-212A is only available from your local PD.

 

$18 to the NJSP / SBI Division and $2 ea for the permits to your local PD when you are approved. could be as little as 20 days to as much as 7 or more months.
