Parker Hale Style Cleaning Jags for Handguns?

Recommended Posts

I was recently introduced to Parker Hale style cleaning jags for rifles. They seem to work much better than traditional jags or loops by putting more patch contact against the barrel wall. However, does anyone know if these style jags are available for handgun barrels or is it just not necessary for a handgun?

Thanks,

MSax

They're similar to Tipton cleaning jags, except that they have wider solvent channels. I know the tipton jag set includes sizes for most handguns as well as long guns. I've used them on handgun barrels, with a short carbon-fiber cleaning rod and they work well.
