Interesting theory

"Has it occurred to anyone that the whole idea of government agencies purchasing such large amounts of ammo may be to purposely overwhelm manufacturers in order to prevent the citizens from being able to purchase any? Another theory may be to give ammunition manufacturers the false sense that they have huge pending orders, requiring massive expansion to meet the demand. They would then have to take out massive loans to purchase the required machinery and facilities to increase capacity to meet the new demand. Once they have over-extended themselves, the government suddenly cancels the huge orders and, essentially bankrupts all of the manufacturers since they would not be able to replace the huge demand through the private market alone. I’m not generally into conspiracy theories, but with the current administration, it sure makes you wonder."
