You can find out more about the course, and sign up directly, here: http://www.gappnj.co...nra_first_steps NRA Basic Pistol - a comprehensive foundation to pistol shooting in all action types. The class describes the "Knowledge, Skills and Attitude" that forms the foundation for using handguns in a safe and enjoyable way, for recreational purposes. It allows those taking the class to understand, handle, and fire revolvers and semi-automatic pistols of a variety of calibers. The class covers the fundamentals of marksmanship, how ammunition works, firearm safety and safe gun handling, how to clean and store firearms, and discusses a variety of avenues for skill development and ideas for gun-related sports. This class also forms the foundation for more advanced, self-defense orientated NRA courses, such as Personal Protection in, and outside, the home, and provides the participant with a Nationally-recognised qualification, that can be used to support applications for Concealed carry permits from several states, including Florida, Virginia, Connecticut and Arizona. The next class we are running is Saturday May 4th, at fort Dix, running 08.30 - 17.00 and you can learn more about it, and sign up directly, here: http://www.gappnj.co...es/basic_pistol We provide everything needed: firearms, ammunition, coffee, snacks, lunch, and all training materials, diagnostic test and certificate of training.
