msokad 3 Posted April 21, 2013 Wow, 30 days is nothing compared to some of the times I see posted. We can only pray and wish NJ did something to fix NICS. As of Monday the magic number I heard was NJSP was 3,000 NICS behind. I can only see that number increasing for the next few months as first timers get their paperwork approved and issued. Howard 538 Posted April 21, 2013 Congrats. I have heard some horror stories of how long it can take. I was lucky too, got mine in Feb in Randolph and it took 28 days. I just looked at my P2P permits that I got at the same time and see that they were actually filled out in only 21 days, it just took them a week till they actually called me. Its nice that some towns are actually obeying the 30 day rule.

laabci 0 Posted April 21, 2013 My bad, I was actually off by 10 days. I verified when I submitted - it turns out it took 20 days. Not trying to rub it in. I know this is unusual.
