  1. in my opinion, yes. =) when spending wilson combat money, you expect it kind of. with the smith pro series... you dont expect that kind of performance. I know wolfy has one... and I will soon have one as soon as my permits are ready.
  2. stop shopping there... =P the shoprite in freehold is right on intersection of 79/9/33 right by the dodge/subaru dealership.
  3. Shoprite. The one here in East windsor has the reduced produce section, about an 8ft section at the end of the produce aisle on the left... right in front of sushi place and olive bar. yes, I know that place quite well. at 16, being a cashier there was my first job.
  4. lol. i will be in Bridgewater tomorrow. send me a pm of what you want, can meet you in the evening, you can pick it up.
  5. Bound Brook, NJ. it is on route 28, off of route 287. tiny, from you in Monroe.... about 45 mins with no traffic.
  6. I am no huge fan of 1911's, but a smith pro series 1911 topped my list. judge in a 410 was great as well. wheel guns, need one.
  7. 4?!?!?!?!!? 8 time, 8, they are calling your name.
  8. I didnt look at it... but based off of the prices... I think it was regular sights.
  9. Our shoprite has reduced produce every day. last time we went to dix, got a bunch of oranges and tomatoes... what fun it was.
  10. the cz 75 was 589 if i am not mistaken.
  11. 223 yes, 308 i honestly dont.
  12. Went into effingers today to buy some ammo, so naturally went to oggle over the gun case. They had a decent selection, albeit far from packed. they had glocks, smiths, sigs, beretta's. From the smiths, they had the M&P line and the sigma guns. If you spent anywhere near what i think some of you do in terms of time here on the board or at gun stores.... you might of hear of the "profound" trigger on the sigma series. I personally heard of this... though never played with one at the range, or fondled one in a store... until today. My impression, oh my, azohen vei (for the yidish jew crew), the trigger is like a rock. Even in single action..... the trigger pull on it, is worse than the trigger pull on any double action revolver.... i mean you had to realllllllllly go at it for the trigger. i couldnt believe it. I asked the guy behind the counter if he shot or held it... and he stated he didnt, at which point I asked him to try it. he was astonished. there has to be something that can be done for the trigger.
  13. went into effingers today to pick up a few bricks... I know a few of you were asking me about them so dropped by since it is close to one of my two offices. Here is an ammo update from what I recall. They had ammo in all of the calibers. 22lr they had regular 100rd stuff, and 500rd bricks. Bricks were Winchester wildcats, Federal bulk pack 525 rnds (21.99) 36gr HP, and Federal 500rd bricks 40gr solid nose also for $21.99. 9mm - Some brass cased brand $15.99 or 16.99, sorry dont recall, and Blazer regular alum for $13.99 45acp - blazer alum, $21.99? or somewhere there. there was pretty much everything else there, but I dont recall prices, sorry. had some more firearms in, glocks, sigs, a few beretta neos. They had a ruger LCR, taurus judge, cz75, smith m&p's, and those smith sigma's....
  14. we got requests for 2, 6, 7, .... who is going for 8?
  15. I keep the originals of my pistol permits together... and have a copy with the firearms. a good idea would be to have scanned copies onto a dvd and stored in your safe deposit box or a safe, or offsite.... just in case.
  16. the blazer regular is alum cased... those cause some issues.... the blazer brass, the walmart boxes, are brass casings, and shoot just fine.
  17. gathering interest to see if there is enough interest to expand this forum to include a subsection to airsoft. there already is an airsoftnj forum, but looks like it is dying down. At the same time, dont want to dilute this as well. so I know tbtrout was introducing me to someone else, and spoke with a member here about the interest.
  18. they usually do, but under reconstruction.... so you can shoot it all on the rifle range.
  19. I dont think there are any members of that club here.... sorry, cant help.
