  1. wow. I love walmart... walked out with 6 boxes and a dvd. =) thank you njpilot for making it out there and watching for the truck. I think it qualifies for its own trip report. While njpilot was waiting at the bensalem wally, I went directly to the fairless hills one, and then to bristol. First one had nothing. Bristol in the am had 20 100rd 9mm bulk packs, by the time I got there, was only 10. I bought 6, immediately after me, a woman bought the last 4. After that, went to meet njpilot at Bensalem, where my brother also happened to be shopping. Bought 6 boxes of the 50rd Federal ammo for $8.97 each. SCORE!. 900rds, and a DVD later... wow. but seriously, Walmart rocks. lol. You cannot get more american than walmart... Guns, Ammo, right next to your cheap DVD's, Baby Diapers, and groceries. Only thing they did is card me to make sure I am 21. After njpilot left, hung around to see what else is there, met another 3 guys there, 2 of whom were from nj also waiting for ammo. Apparently, Tuesdays, around 6pm they put the ammo out. when I left, there were only 4 100rd bulk packs of 9mm left in bensalem, and quite a bunch of the federal. If you make it there in the AM, very good chance you can pick up 9mm 50rd fmj 115 gr federal ammo for $8.97 a box.
  2. there is one, er, was one this weekend? at Brick Armory. I dont know if it is still there or not.
  3. they are not factory mags. they are the original factory mags modified by a class 3 dealer. It is more than just pinching the sides of the mag, but perm. modified inside the mag as well. welded in pieces from what I recall. I cant speak for them, but this is what at least 1 dealer I know of, that is how they do them.

    Crochet gun case

we are going to try felted cases. They are more durable. Like whats great, you can grab them in there, throw them in a backpack instead of the cases and still protected. for women, my gf does custom handbags, and for people outside of nj, I think having a holster designed into the side of the bag would be pretty good.
  5. no clue... will move to competitive shooting forum, should get a response there.
  6. You need a class 3 license for one... there is only one place I know of here in NJ that has one.
  7. I suggest you contact one of the vendors on the forum, they can get them for you. visit Jen if you are in north jersey at bullet hole, or Paul if you are in south jersey, i heard he has one in stock, check out his website, or if you are in central jersey, contact Vinny. -Max
  8. The COE is used for any long gun purchases, sales, or transfer, between person to person, in nj, or ffl to purchaser out of state or here. Basicly, you use COE every time except for Pistols, where you need pistol permits.
  9. my understanding, You can only purchase from out of state dealer.... not from out of state resident. if resident, has to go through ffl. otherwise, when i bought my long guns in PA, they did the nics, made sure it was jersey legal, and filled out my cert of eligibility.
  10. Waaaaaa? It is??? Hoorraay! That will be my next quest. Thanks Maksim. quite welcome, check the shotgun section here, there are a few discussions going on about it already.
  11. Saiga 12's are quite legal in NJ. with 10 round mags.
  12. anyone have a need to go to PA? =) did they say how many they have? Would prefer to get the blazer brass though.
  13. Fyi for all the campers out there. http://www.woot.com/ they have one deal a day... todays is the sleeping bags.

    Crochet gun case

logo will come... we just wanted to see how well it would come out. Going to play with a felted idea as well. Speaking of holder... what really came was for women in states where CC is legal, to make that part of the bag.... so you dont have to dig in a big back for your firearm if need be.

    Crochet gun case

So my girlfriend decided to take a break from crochet kids clothes, and spent some time making something we ran across on a blog... a crochet gun cozy. Washable, dryer safe, custom fit to to each gun, hehe.
  17. I was actually looking at the regulations if I want to bring stuff back, but seems like a pain in the butt. I do have relatives there. What I really wanted is an original dragunov... but alas.
  18. How scary is this. http://www.bing.com/maps/?FORM=ZZLH8#Jn ... Y3NTI5Mjk3 beats the heck out of google maps.
  19. I am sure it will take time, but I really do like the more streamlined searches. Google by all means has a broader reach, and we get about twice as many links from google than bing/live, but will be great to see.
  20. and make sure you have one of our shirts... this way you know the proper way to shoot. =) what did the 3 hour one cover? Next time you are going to shoot, you can drop by when tbtrout or I am there, more than happy to let you shoot.
  21. what tony said... Paralysis by analysis. Stop putting the p on the pedistal... wait, not sure if it applies here. 8-) But what distance was this shooting at? Just do it, shoot, esp with a 22lr, you can afford to practice. Do you currently own any firearms? And what class did you take? Was this the NRA Basic Pistol class?
  22. Just go to their website.... http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/
