  1. Crash and burn all around and the guy is laughing about his totaled POS Charger..
  2. For CA maybe, eastern half of U.S. no.
  3. Is that the guy who a few years ago pulled a stunt by personally delivering a cardboard box of ballot signatures or something in an old Chevy Impala.
  4. That never stops the Dems. They keep hammering away year after year until they get what the want. Look what is happening with the fair housing mandates and massive apartment buildings going up all over the state in single family towns. The Dems laid the ground work for that in the 1970's through 3 republican governors and republican controlled assemblies.
  5. Yeah, thats crazy I would never spend that much on SD handgun As for Polymer handguns they're not that light when you've got 17-18 rounds on board (11rds. in N.J.) and thats what you want in a primary HD handgun high capacity. I was all set to buy a Glock until I picked one up, didn't care for the grip angle and texture at all. Went with S&W instead.
  6. The S&W SD9 is good entry level gun and can be had for around $300 with two nice 10 rd mags. That is a darn good price for a quality gun from S&W and close to what they were selling for pre-covid. Trigger may feel a little heavy at first but with an Apex spring kit and break-in period it lightens up a lot. https://battlehawkarmory.com/product/smith-wesson-13046-sd9-ve-crimson-trace-rail-master-9mm-luger-4-101-black-stainless-steel-textured-polymer-grip
  7. He said Clark. Steve at Monmouth Arms would be my suggestion.
  8. -Each PP is good for 90 days and can be extended for another 90 days, 180 total. However, thanks to that crook Jon Corzine N.J. now allows only one handgun purchase per month. -You're perfectly within your rights to request multiple PP's. The local PD doesn't get to decide the number of PP's they will or will not issue and applicants requesting multiple PP's is not unusual. -To purchase a long gun you have to present your FID card, drivers license and pass the NICS check. No PP necessary and no limit on the number purchased.
  9. Thats no guarantee they won't call. In my town sometimes they called, sometimes they didn't.
  10. That would be perfectly acceptable. Just indicate Self Employed (which you are) and the business name, address, etc. The things that most often jam people up on FID applications are any kind of unexpunged convictions, no matter how minor or long ago. And mental health records, again no matter how minor or long ago. Took doctor prescribed anti-depressants for six months ten years ago? Better be prepared to get a letter from an M.D. stating its safe for you to possess firearms now. Here is some more info: https://www.njgunlawyers.com/page.php?here=FID
  11. Or this. Employment is not a condition for FID approval.
  12. Yes, some PD's do call employers, legal or not it happens. I was technically unemployed at times and put that down. I'd suggest you do the same. You just started the job days ago and probably haven't even received the first paycheck yet, really splitting hairs at this point. As for question #2 just another hoop for FID applicants to jump through designed to discourage firearm ownership in N.J. For some it could be a total deal killer and they don't take the process any further. One of many reasons firearm ownership is so low in N.J.
  13. https://wallstreetonparade.com/2022/01/the-new-york-fed-has-quietly-staffed-up-a-second-trading-floor-near-the-sp-500-futures-market-in-chicago/ "The intraday whipsawing, with 1,000-point intraday swings in the Dow Jones Industrial Average last week, strongly suggests that some well-heeled player is attempting to scare out the shorts and create a short squeeze (which sends the stock market back up) when the market is plunging".

  15. Ah, but this a "Bomb Super Blizzard Cyclone", actual snowfall doesn't matter.
  16. That was probably the blizzard we had right around New Years 1996 that dumped almost two feet across most of the state. Now they declare a state of emergency/travel bans based on forecasts of average winter storms.
  17. Nothing tyrants like Murphy love better than declaring states of "emergency". They enjoy pushing people around. I knew this shit would set a precedent and get abused when Christie first started declaring states of emergencies and travel bans for typical winter storms.
  18. What forecast is that? The Weather Channel and News 12 has the storm much further to the east.
  19. Drifts can be a good thing depending on where it piles up. Better than an even layer of heavy wet snow.
  20. Good. You guys always get off too easy. We'll be up to our knees in snow sometimes while the coast and south jersey is just getting rain.
  21. Epic. Bet a lot of shorts got squeezed if they didn't cash out mid-session. If you're really good you cashed out and went long, but that takes brass balls.
  22. PM's holding up okay. They usually tank with the market in the beginning of downturns.
  23. Looks like the insider billionaires and others selling back in November-December timed it perfectly.
  24. I don't hunt. I got it to use the state range at Clinton.
