  1. I'm going to get my NJ hunting license soon. (I've completed the online hunter education course and am awaiting the field day training next week.). After I obtain my license I understand I can use the available ranges per the regulations below. https://nj.gov/dep/fgw/ranges.htm One of the regulations is: At least one (1) member of the shooting party must have a current, valid New Jersey hunting license in possession. I have the following question: Will I be able to take other family members to shoot with me even though they do not have FIDs? (i.e. they will be using my rifles.) Thanks for any and all feedback.
  2. In this informative video, Reid Henrichs of Valor Ridge discusses a strategy that is taking form in Southern Illinois. Starting with the 2A sanctuary movement, Effingham County, IL has taken the national lead in resisting government overreach at all levels. What started as a small, localized movement soon spread across the country. This new ordinance will give teeth and a template to localities looking to further bolster themselves against tyrannical fiat rule by both elected an un-elected members of government at any level. NJ has 2A Sanctuary Counties - if people want to stay in NJ and fight there are some good takeaways from this video and the links in its description.
  3. I understand that this is unfortunately true in many families however, I believe if you can't have more influence in how your children grow up into adults, the failure is on the parents.
  4. Same with WV, there is a bill in the works to nullify Federal gun laws. Several states are doing this..using liberal tactics for disregarding federal law , e.g. "Sanctuary Cities". If it is signed into law by the gov, it will be a big motivation to land there. SC is a good also. However, the demographics aren't great. I'd like to live in a place where crime is low and the likelihood of having to defend my life is low.
  5. I am normally the stand and fight guy but also recognize that there is no way to win in a state packed with illegals and others who vote for communism. The traitors have the numbers, when they don't, they cook the books.
  6. Well, given the speed at which we are spiraling into Communism, getting bread might become as difficult as getting a gun soon.
  7. I'm thinking about moving to WV. Like many, I have overstayed in NJ due to family reasons but I've had enough of the Covid tyranny and Gun Law BS in NJ. WV seems to be the closest common sense state near NJ.
  8. Do you have a model # or a rough estimate on the weight of the safe? Thx.
  9. This is not a bad way to spend $600, or whatever the going rate is for the Ruger, these days.
