  1. Yes it was my mistake and thank you for your welcome to the forums.
  2. Thank you Bomber...it's been deleted. All I need is one grandpa or grandma on the jury and they'll never convict me.
  3. Walk into any gun shop in NJ and besides seeing young and middle aged Americans you now see many seniors. I was in a shop the other day and there was a couple in their 80's talking to the clerk about what guns they should have to protect themselves. Being a senior myself (78) I started a conversation with them and asked them why now were they interested in getting a weapon. I already knew the answer because I'm in the same boat, they said because they were scared not only in their house but outside as well. Seniors are an easy target. In my situation I have many physical problems. In my younger days I protected myself and family quite well as we lived in NY and there were many times I had to fight and thank God I was able too. Nowadays that's just not physically possible . If somebody comes into my home they will regret it big time on the outside my wife and I are sitting ducks. I see this ruling by this judge and it blows my mind especially living in this communist state under Herr Murphy's draconian requirements to get a carry permit and where you can and cannot carry. It's funny but basically Murphy is telling the criminals where they can have no fear of a person protecting themselves with a weapon. Seniors like me are being forced to decide whether to carry without a carry permit. I have been trained and go to the range and so has my wife. Crime is on the rise in NJ. Cars being hijacked, home invasions shootings and seniors being beaten and robbed. I will never allow my wife to be beaten , dragged out of our car or any other physical attack.Murphy is bussing these invaders into our towns . The police already know that Venezuelan gangs are stealing cars and doing home invasions. The more that come in the more drugs and crime come in with them. Seniors have no other option but to protect themselves. As it was said it's not a question of if but when. These cells are just waiting for the word to attack and just like in Israel those who are not ready will be the first to suffer. Be safe, and be ready. They are coming it's just the question of when. I pray that God saves this country before then but I'm afraid and many seniors are afraid. So I am asking that when you see seniors in a gun shop give them some support in what they are looking to do. GOD BLESS AND SAVE AMERICA

    New Glock 42

Hi Everyone, I'm 78 years old and have problems with both my hands I just got my G42 and had a bit of trouble loading my mags with the little speed loader supplied. So I tried using my magpul that I use for my G43x and it seemed to work much better. But my question is will I damage my mags using the bigger speed loader or should I get a speed loader just for theG42 380. Especially because I added 2 round add on's to both mags which cost me a few bucks. Thank you in advance, Mike
  5. Hi Everyone, I just bought a G42 380. My home gun is a 43x. I bought the 42 because I have issues with my hands. At 78 I have quite a few issues, lol. I bought a bunch of stuff from Glock to help with racking, mag release , a 3.5 connector and related things to help my hands. I have been reading reviews from all the ammo sights on the net and I'm seeing that some 380 ammo doesn't work in some of the 42's. I'm hoping that some of you here have had experience with trouble ammo in the 42 and maybe you can give me some advice on the best training ammo that you don't have to pay a lung for. I want to practice and take the test to carry . So any advice would be appreciated.
  6. FYI, Federal Judge halts this gun law in California. https://theragingpatriot.org/federal-judge-temporarily-halts-repugnant-california-gun-law/#google_vignette?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=fd&utm_campaign=article

    Thank you Drok
  8. There are a number of such videos that show similar results especially with the max ammo ...so I guess if I'm going illegal it really doesn't matter.....just don't want to kill anybody or an innocent bystander. They say that if you pull the trigger while the safety is on it breaks the seal on the co2 and the first shot fires out faster.....who knows, hopefully I'll never find out. https://www.google.com/search?q=byrna+videos&oq=byrna+videos&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDggAEEUYJxg7GIAEGIoFMg4IABBFGCcYOxiABBiKBTIHCAEQABiABDIICAIQABgWGB4yCAgDEAAYFhgeMggIBBAAGBYYHjIICAUQABgWGB4yBggGEEUYPDIGCAcQLhhA0gEJMTEyMzRqMGo0qAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&ip=1&vld=cid:992f84a5,vid:0iQlsb0n6IY,st:0
  9. It so happens I was doing so practice as soon as I got the launcher and I had trouble with the trigger. I sent it back to them and should get it back today. They had to change some trigger parts but also said that I might have tighten the CO2 to much. I must say they excellent support services.
  10. It's about the size ofr an 1911 but much lighter of course. I already have 2 holsters for it. One from a company called sneaky-pete where it's a case that looks like you're carry an I-pad and I'll have an apple sticker on the outside cover...it's a little on the big side but nobody wold know whats inside of it...The case is closed but easy to open and draw if God forbid I have too. The other holster is a paddle holster that hides it pretty good. I'm just looking to get away from trouble . The max ammo will make it very, very uncomfortable for anybody that gets hit with it and will give me 30-45 mins to get away if needed.
  11. Thank you once again , you've been a big help Mr. Su. May I ask you another question please . I am planning on carry the Byrna launcher. I've been told that the pepper spray rounds and hard plastic rounds(kenetic)are illegal in NJ but the econ -kenetic (which break apart) and the max rounds which contain some pepper spray and tear gas are legal. According to the company Byrna there are no restrictions on shipping any of their products to NJ as there are in a few other states. Are you aware of this product and what laws in NJ cover this launcher? The reason I don't want a carry permit is because I don't know how I could handle killing somebody or hurting a bystander. I just want something to protect my wife and self if the need arises. Murphy doesn't care about out safety. He cares more about criminal rights than citizens rights or their lives. I have to protect my family whether Murphy likes it or not. His family is protected just as many of his cronies in NJ politics. Why are their lives more important than my family? Sorry for the rant and I hope to not bother you again. Thank you, Michael
  12. Please for give me Mr.Su but my brain at 78 has slowed down and I'm still a little confused. I do have a permit to own my guns but not a carry permit. So am I still allowed to carry outside on my own property ?
  13. Sorry to bother you guys but I'm new here and can't seen to find the answer to this question. In NJ can you carry outside your house on your own land? At our poker game last night a guy said that he talked to a lawyer from Law Shield and was told that it was illegal to carry outside on your own property in NJ. But everything I've read on the internet has said that I can carry even openly on my own land if I want too. So I figured I'd ask that question here because I'm thinking that you guys would be well aware of what's legal or not.

Thank you for the welcome Glen A buddy of mine who has a carry permit just told me that Murphy change the rules again and while he still has a year and a half left on the permit, his permit now expires on Dec 31st. Plus he has to take the test again, plus now draw from his holster and pay $275 more. Murphy is the worse POS in the country when it comes to protecting yourself and family when away from home. He has security protecting him and his family and so do some of his cronies. Why is the safety of his family and his cronies more important than mine? Especially with all the illegal he's brought into the state and criminals he's released, screw him I'll do what I have to do. Hopefully that will be nothing but I'll be prepared to defend whether that POS likes it or not.
