Having several friends in many different municipalities I was just curious about their service weapon. In my home twp of Marlboro, the pd uses Glock .40, also the same handgun as used by East Windsor PD. My buddy with the Monmouth County Sheriff's , just got a brand new Smith &Wesson M&P .45. Previously they had a different model S&W also in .45. SO i was curious do you know what your local pd uses?

I personally use a heavily pocketed book bag. Has compartments for mags, and ammo boxes. You can always get a duffle bag style bag, but sometimes I have seen them overpriced bc they are "range" bags. The same style dufffle bag at walmart would be half the price

Home depot is where I got my eye and ear protection. They have ear plugs foam and soft rubber as well as 30db ear muffs. They also have a bunch of 5.99-9.99 ear protection. Dicks, WalMart both have a good selection
