I agree with the previous writer. I started my grandson at 7 years with safety primarily and went from there with a 22 Colt single action army and one bullet. He was very mature and did well.

I have many different brands. If price is an issue, Uberti and Ruger Blackhawk are great. If price is not an issue than a Colt is nice to have. I love the USFA sa but they don't make them anymore. They were a little expensive.
