  1. Doubt they will ship to NJ if they prohibit shipping us primers.
  2. Yes it was taped to the target. As Uppercuts said I was able to hit 4 pennies too but they blew through the back of my target and I found all but one. Here's the rifle I used. It's a Sig Blaser R93 LRS2 with a Leupold Mark 4 ER/T 6.5 X 50MM
  3. Why is that? Show me the law that states an AK can't be stamped AK. The law clearly states an AR15 can't be stamped that way but I've never read a law that say that about an AK. My Bulgy 5.45 Krinkov is built on an OOW receiver stamped AK-47S. Receiver was transfered through a NJ FFL.
  4. You'll love that Beretta. I've had mine since 1988 when they first became available. Made in Italy and the action is smooth as glass. When you hit the mag. release they drop free real fast. I have over 4000 round of lead reloads through her with any type of failure.

    Sarco

I've been going there since the 70's. When Glenn DeRuiter and Rick Slack worked there it was a different place. Glenn was a walking firearms dictionary. Richie was a Garand expert. Glenn died at the range when a Lee Enfield 11mm rifle blew up and he caught a piece of metal to the forehead. Richie left in the early 90's. The "walk" in stuff they got was amazing back then. They were always good to me. Bought a few pre '45 pieces and many parts there over the years. Charlie Sarco never cared about selling firearms. He had his millions buying and selling parts.
  6. The nastiest biting fly in NJ that's what. When they bite it feels like they take a chunk of skin with them.
  7. Two clean .308 holes through a quarter at 100 yards off the bench. I didn't think it possible with handloads but I did it. I've put one clean hole through at 100 many times in the past but never two. These handloads actually preformed better then the Federal Gold Match ammo I tried. New virgin Federal nickle brass using Sierra 168 gr. Matchking HPBT bullet ( #2200 ). Federal 210M primers. IMR4895 powder 42.5 gr. at appx. 2550 fps. COL was 2.800 Ammo was loaded using a PACT Digital Precision Powder Scale and Dispenser. Testing and patience paid off big time. Now to duplicate this at 200 yards is next. It's fun to be a reloader!!!
  8. I had the rear sight blade changed out on my 4" Model 66 this past Spring. I think the total cost was under 50 bucks and turnaround time was two weeks. Ship it back FEDX. IMHO it was worth the trip back and forth to S&W.
  9. Agreed on the book title. Every new reloader should read it before starting.
  10. I'll be there. Haven't missed one in many years.
  11. Where is "up here"? Is this complete AR and is it the piston driven one? Link? I am considering to get a CMMG special deal ($599) and then go from there, but if there are better deals ... le us know. "Up here". He lives in NH.
  12. Very nice. I like Czech pistols too. Your going to love the Beretta 92f. I've had mine since 1988.
  13. Well, its the number of features that count on a semi-auto rifle that takes detachable mags. Like the M1A/M14, the threaded barrel is the one evil feature. I guess if you got one of those messed up California AR's, you could have a threaded barrel. (with the Fixed mag and No pistol grip) I understand that. I was speaking of the attachment part of a muzzle brake in NJ.
  14. saigas are great guns.. 8-) Yes if you enjoy 3" groups at 100 yards.
  15. Very nice. Try some 62 grain bullets out of that bad boy.
  16. It all depends where you shop. Some have the lowered their prices, some have not.
  17. Good question. NJ law states no threaded barrels on semi-auto rifles. However the office of the NJ AG's office does not offer any guidelines on how to permanently attach a brake to be legal. Most follow the Federal pre 2004 guideline by either welding and pinning or silver soldering. Is this 100% legal in NJ? No one for sure knows or want's to be the test case. PS. Welcome to NJ!!!
  18. SAR 2, WASR 2 or Romanian Krinkov for semi-auto's. I also believe there is a East German bolt action rifle that fires it too.
  19. I've have been going since 1988. It's mainly a collectors show for older firearms. I picked a few real nice things things today.
  20. I watched both episodes. My opinion is he is anti-gun for anyone except LEO. I'll keep watching but strictly for laughs.
