  1. Scary story and if that does not convince anyone I don't know what will. Quite honestly I don't recall exactly what convinced me but the more I heard the MSM ridicule all of "these crazy people buying guns in record numbers" I was completely caught off guard and curious as to why. Even though my wife and I were anti-gun we were wondering why Matt Lauer and Katie Couric were in a tirad about these "crazy people". (No, I do not watch them---I woke up). My wife and I researched and as we came across several sites they talked about history, crime, how Stalin and other tyrants took guns and why. One point i do remember and I use quite often was how close to 200 MILLION innocent people were killed when guns banned or confiscated. I was totally intrigued by that statistic and researched more and more----to this day I continue to brush up on the facts, myth's, etc because these people continue to find new ways of twisting the truth.
  2. I disagree. I believe it's worth his time to respond not because of the ignorant left wing looney to "get it" but for the casual reader browsing the site to see the "other side" of the argument...AKA, the truth. I was one of those anti-gun people back in 2008 until I started to research why so many people were buying guns. I came across several site which "enlightened" me to the truth and here I am continuing to go on these left wing/progressive sites, facebook, etc to spread the truth to other casual readers. We all need to be doing this if we want to continue to spread the truth and protect freedom from extinction.

  5. Welcome to the site. BTW, I used to live in Marlton,NJ behind the Pep boys---I see you're from Cherry Hill, are you close to there?
  6. No problem...thanks for the heads up. However, I don't recall anyone really mentioning "religious topics" being off limits. I would hope not.
  7. If someone's gonna question my belief I am to answer it...I'm accountable to God. With that said, if the mod sees fit to remove these posts it their site.
  8. Shall not kill...shall not steal....shall not lie....come on, you're joking, right? BTW on a side note. History ALWAYS repeats itself. In Communist China, Russia, Germany, Cuba, N.Korea, etc all these leaders had to either REMOVE God totally or control it then eradicate God....why? because once God is removed government steps into fill that role...now what they say goes---no firearms? It's up to government to determine. You don't see that being repeated here? For those so against Christianity, remove God you remove all the "Bill of Rights" because those are only enforced my a society believing in a higher power. If God is eradicated, government is now your "higher power" and do you think they have your best interest at heart?
  9. With Kane tied up I hope we get a true conservative as the next AG in 2016/2017 and reverses this BS law. I prefer DE, NJ, MD residents coming over with their FL CCW. The more LEGAL concealed carriers the better. BTW, is NH a viable option? http://www.usacarry.com/new_hampshire_concealed_carry_permit_information.html
  10. We have one near our house in Bucks county,PA. But it's .10 cents more per gallon and only the Jersey women pull up into the "full service" islands. BTW, my wife never pumped her own gas and never wanted to, until we moved to PA. Now she prefers it....pull up, pump asap and then leave. The BJ's near our house is always 12 cents cheaper than all other stations plus we get 10 cents off per gallon with the card and an additional 5 cents after shopping. It's still about 5 cents more a gallon than NJ, but for in/out quickness I go there. BTW, I'm amazed how many of my NJ friends rarely or never pumped their own gas...they think all states have full service.
  11. I believe that we've been living in tyranny for quite some time but it's been ramped up over the past 3-4 years. Anything you own can be taken from you at any time (IRS, TSA, SWAT team). Say the wrong thing online and your life is other. Break the simplest of laws and your life is over. Confiscation (slowly by groups) of firearms. Eroded healthcare system with Gov't take over. Christians losing businesses because of opinion, etc. Remember, many citizens of these oppressed countries did not know they were oppressed until they literally saw friends disappear. Oppression comes in many forms and our is diluted by denial and the illusion of freedom.
  12. I honestly don't know what I'd do and what it would look like, but I'm completely tired of lies, slander and propaganda against hard working, innocent citizens in this country. If history repeats itself (it always does) then I'd rather fight tyranny and oppression rather than live under it----fearing daily for me and my family. That's not freedom, that's torturous slavery living under illegal seizures of property, my wife and children being pillaged and raped and being defenseless. Our mind could never understand the oppression these people faced on a daily basis. I've heard stories from my Ukrainian co-workers and people from other countries. They have seen and heard the same lines from their "leaders" while under oppression. They know it all too well and fear [greatly] that it is here! We need to support and hang together because I fear the next year will get very "bumpy"

  14. Are you rooted? I have KK on my LG E980 and Lollipop on the S4. I never had great battery life with my S4 even after flashing, rooting, freezing apps, etc. However, with Lollipop, rooted and updating with "Galaxy mod ULTIMATE update .zip" I am getting amazing battery life. ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2777698 ). However, I have not used Lollipop enough to give you a detailed synopsis of stability. I'm staying on KK on my E980 for now.Other than hooking up to BT and other devices a little easier, I wasn't able to see a heck of a lot of difference. I'm sure if I used my S4 daily, I might.
  15. As per 2012: http://crimepreventionresearchcenter.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Concealed-Carry-Permit-Holders-Across-the-United-States.pdf Politifact from 2011: http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2015/apr/15/jeb-bush/which-state-most-gun-permits/ 2012---with links to stats: http://legallyarmed.com/ccw_statistics.htm
  16. ME: "Sorry Mr. Police chief, but I di not know my PA LTCF was not good in NJ...." Chief: "put your hands behind your back..." ME: "but I did not know..." Why is it these scum balls break the law and it's simply pushed aside as "an accident". Innocent people do it and they're in jail. Yeah, we're still free....right.
  17. The Berlin Township woman got a restraining order against a former boyfriend, installed security cameras and an alarm system to her home and began the months-long process of obtaining a handgun, friends said. But it wasn't enough. Bowne, 39, was stabbed to death in the driveway of her Patton Avenue home on Wednesday night. http://www.courierpostonline.com/story/news/crime/2015/06/04/woman-fatally-stabbed-berlin-twp/28461361/
  18. I know, I tell that to new and would be gun owners all the time. When I was down there in January I was always reading up before going anywhere down there. No open carry of handguns, but you can with rifles (kind of), No bar carry if 51% of their business is from alcohol. Then there's the 30.06 gun signs---you could be prosecuted on private property even if you're a legal carrier. Then the "no guns allowed" that adds to the confusion, then felony for CHURCH carry and add on top the training requirements, etc. I find it much better in PA, NC and other states.
  19. I agree that gun rights are ALWAYS under attack and we ALL need to fight them as we ALL have a stake in the game. However, PA has (almost) 50% gun ownership and the most conceal carry permits issued in the USA aside from Florida---yes, even more than Texas. We have not lost any reciprocity states and actually gained a few more due to resident permits being honored. Women are applying for LTCF in record numbers and there are pro gun bill after Bill being presented---even though Wolf is anti gun at least the pressure is on! More and more of the FUDDS are changing their LTCF from "hunting" to "self defense" and pistol sales are rising along with the Licenses. But I agree, we all need to fight this together because if one state falls they all fall. Also, I'm from NJ and hope to NEVER end up like that state again but I fear and have concern on my many friends that live there. They are pro gun and can't carry in PA so I have a "game" in the fight. BTW, I think Kane will be tied up with TOO much legal crap to mess with reciprocity and hopefully come Nov 2016 she'll be voted out---with 26% approval it looks like she will be replaced with a conservative that SHOULD undo her damage. In the meantime, is your safety worth the $300 to travel to Texas? I flew Spirit for $100, stayed at a nice hotel for $100 a night....make it into a vacation, get your carry and bring your firearm. To me it would be well worth it!
  20. I know Handguns are registered in NJ---However,FYI,I don't live in NJ BTW. Also, I believe ANY---ANY time a NICS, PICS or CC purchase or whatever is done, you're flagged. They know. I believe the progressives WANT a registration so they can set up a "legal" system or precedence for confiscation. If it's set up, it could be used as a reason for "lawful" search and seizure.
  21. So my dad, a NJ resident, passes away and wills me (A PA resident) his guns or simply has me listed as POA, I can simply remove them from his house without going through an FFL, etc?
  22. I really, really hope you're kidding and if you're not, you better research and study history. If you're being sarcastic, then forgive me in advance. Do you really believe registering your guns is for stopping criminals? Do you think it's for government to protect and help you? Do you honestly believe it would end well? Look up in history the order of tyranny--- simple registration, followed by fines, followed by imprisonment, followed by confiscation (anyway) followed by 250 MILLION innocent, defenseless people killed in about 100 years. G oahead and register your gun(s) and see how things work out for you. Do you [even] understand what the 2A is all about? Do you understand why citizens should "bear arms" without government infringements? If you don't, then I suggest you learn.
  23. Exactly! It's like saying "you can own a car but you're only allowed to drive it from your home to the dealership and that's it". Yes, essentially guns are illegal in NJ unless you abide by the two allowances.
  24. I live in PA, but still have my FID card, is that still valid or does it need my current address?
  25. Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop will be one of four speakers at an education program on gun violence solutions being held at Fairleigh Dickinson University tonight.
